Good: The location is the only good thing about Block House. It is close and convenient. That is the only
good thing.
However, I would drive hundreds of miles before I would ever go back to that vet.. Bad: They appear to be in business purely for the money
and could care less about the animals. They are very unorganized and you always have to wait a very long time to see the vet and then it takes forever for them to check you out. When you ask why it is taking so long they have no answer. Nobody seems to know
what is going on. It was a terrible experience from beginning to end. I would never go there again. The staff is clueless & one of the staff,
Kim Messanger, was extremely rude and arrogant.. Improvements: There are too many things wrong with that place. They would have to fire everyone including the vets
and start all over again. It is very upsetting to think
about how the animals that are taken there are being treated. Why would anyone ever take their pet back
for a second visit.. Other: Kim Messanger, overcharged me and when I confonted her about overcharging me, she became very irate. She had charged me $9.28 for packaging & shipping the Coggins blood test to the lab. Vets never charge for packaging/shipping blood tests to the lab. She also charged me $21 for an equine exam. My horse did not get an exam. I asked
her to check with the vet because I was with my horse the whole time & he did not get an exam.
She refused! I could not believe they cheated me out
of $31. Unbelievable!.
