I have been taking my kids to see Dr. Mann for 5 years. I have no issues with him or his nurses. However, I am UAW 218 from Bell Helicopter and while out on strike the ignorant/rude ladies at the front office refused to file a claim to my Strike assistance insurance which covered 100%. They required an upfront payment and you handle the claim. Something you do not want to hear while supporting our union brothers and sisters and standing strong. I quote, "We do not want to have to track down any money if something were to happen." My bill was $154 for my daughter. I have since gone to another clinic and showed my insurance card and they immediately knew everything about the insurance and said "yes we have no problem submitting a claim, we have done several already and have received 100% coverage." I transferred my children immediately and will no longer step foot in a Cook Children's Clinic again. To my Union brothers and sisters from every membership, we must STAND STRONG amongst the ANTI-UNION.
