Unreliable, Zero Customer Service & Thieves! 3/17/2008

March 2008: I scheduled a rountrip service for $85. Not an issue. I got the first part of my trip (to airport). No issue. Coming home to PDX my plane was on time. I got off the plane, went to the bathroom and purchased a bottle of water on my way to baggage claim. I picked up my bag and walked outside - no Beaverton Airporter. I went to the shuttle desk and they told me where to meet the van. FIFTEEN minutes later a rep comes to me and says the B-Airporter had already been there, waited an HOUR, and left because I was a no show. My plane landed at 1:19 and I was waiting for the van by 1:50. Hmmm.. How could they have been waiting an hour???? If THEY arrived early that was their problem, not mine. They refused me service and the Indian man I was speaking to was so rude, disrespectful and had no customer-service skill at all. I was forced to find a different ride which meant I spent 2 hours on the MAX which is not the safest of options for a single lady travelling alone. \r \r I highly recommend you pick a different service for your PDX-Home needs. I am also contacting my employers travel group and recommend they NOT recommend this company. I will also be contacting the city of Beaverton licensing department to file an official complaint. This company (and or their management) should not be operating.\r \r They state NO refund on their receipts so on top of getting lousy service and treatment they STOLE $45 of my prepaid money. On top of everything else I consider them thieves!!! Cons: Poor customer service, steals prepaid money, argumentative management more

Almost Missed Flight Thanks to Them 1/16/2008

Raja Tours also does business as Beaverton Airporter. I was scheduled for an early morning pickup on 1/1/2008, before Beaverton Airporter's 8am business hours. The night before, I was supposed to receive a confirmation call, but didn't, so I had to call them after their business hours ended at 8pm to verify. They apologized for being so busy that they couldn't call me first. That's really no excuse for poor service. But wait--it gets worse. The next morning, NO ONE showed up and NO ONE called me. I expected a call from the driver and also the office, where I left a couple of messages that morning as I waited for my ride. Because it was before business hours, no one answered. I waited 40 minutes, and finally had to drive myself to the airport, where I almost missed my flight. In addition, I had to pay over $100 for parking, which I was trying to avoid by taking the shuttle. In my phone messages to Beaverton Airporter, I asked for an explanation of why no one showed and why no one called me, and vouchers for a free round trip(s). In the end, NO ONE called me back. Extremely poor customer service. Not reliable at all. They shouldn't be operating. more

Missed flight b/c of them 1/2/2008

My mother needed a ride to the airport at 4 am. Since my regular shuttle provider was booked I tried this company. It normally takes my other shuttle company 30 minutes to get to the airport from my house. Raja Tour arrived at my house on time, but spent 1 hour picking up other people. After my mother told the driver she was going to miss her flight if he didn't hurry, he simply told her, you should have booked an earlier pick-up time?! First it just didn't occur to us that they'd spend an HOUR picking up other people. But this is not the point. Shuttle companies should be responsible for getting people to the airport when they need to. How are we to know how long it will take Raja Tours to get there - we don't have their roster. It's up to them to ask us our departure time, calculate the appropriate pick-up time based on their schedule, and then get us to the airport on time. My poor mother got to the airport as the gate doors were closing. Needless to say, she missed her flight. We were extremely disappointed. This shuttle experience resulted in a miserable travel day for my mother. So while the driver arrived on time, was very polite and a good driver, and the van was quite clean, we cannot recommend this company. Bad Driving and worse service 10/5/2007

I have to preface this by saying I have never been a customer of these folks, I am only relating what I observed. I was heading down Allen Blvd and was behind one of their vans, He was doing 10-15 MPH in a 30 zone in the right lane. When we got to Hall, he stopped, crept halfway into the intersection, and then turned right without signaling. I called the number on the back of the van to report what I had seen. I asked if I had gotten the license plate number of the vehicle, I told him I had not. He then proceded to chastise me saying he had 35 drivers working for him and they were all good drivers, and the behavior I had observed could not have been one of his drivers.\r All righty then.\r Like I said, I have never ridden in one of their vans, and hopefuly, I never will. Cons: Driver behaved in an unsafe manner. Managment unresponsive to complaint more
