iStorage 50 East

First off I think the manager, Buck, at iStorage 50 East is a good person to work with. He's very accommodating, and I really like him. I've been using iStorage since late October, and it's been excellent. One thing I didn't like was I got a little generic letter that said they were going to start charging me about $9 dollars a month for insurance. That bothered me because I have insurance for my unit on file with them that covered 20 times what they were offering. Forcing you to buy this stuff when you have your own that exceeds what's being offered is bad customer relations. I almost called the insurance division, but I didn't. Instead I called Buck, and he told me not to worry about it. He said he had my insurance on file and he sent the information to corporate, but they still sent the letter to everyone. He diffused the situation and handled it very well. But on corporate's part that was bad customer relations. The only other thing is that I really wish they had access 24/7, not just the 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM arrangement. Other than that, I've been very pleased with the property and the local staff. more

I've had no problems with iStorage 50 East. They've done a lot of upgrades recently. They've painted all the buildings, so they look a lot nicer now. The facilities are cleaner and neater now. The units are very well kept. Everything has been a positive upgrade. The staff is very good. There was a young lady and a gentleman who were very helpful and kind to me. They're doing a fine job at iStorage 50 East, and I would recommend them. more

Our experience with iStorage 50 East has been just fine. We like it there. The staff is good to us. We didn't need a big unit for our things. The units were clean when we arrived. I just found out that there might be a gate that you don't need an access number to enter, but I haven't used that. We just paid for another month of storage. Everything has been great. more

I have a unit over there at iStorage 50 East. They're remodeling over there and they redid the landscape. It's looking really nice. It's also close for me. They have good customer service. I haven't had any problems with it. I have a nice unit, so I have no complaints about that either. I have a motel right here next to it and I recommend to any of my tenants who may need storage that they go there. It's close and it's convenient. more

iStorage 50 East is very convenient for us. We've had a unit there for about five months now. The people have always been really friendly, and the place has stayed clean for as long as we've been there. more

iStorage showed me the unit and set it up for me. Access to the unit is easy. The security is very good. The personnel there are people people. They take their time with you and are patient. They aren't pushy or try to get rid of you to get to the next customer. I called them the other day to get another month on the unit, but they weren't there. Later on that same day, I received a call back from them, so they're responsive. more

I've only been at iStorage 50 East for about two months, but so far everything's been great. The unit was clean when I got there, so that was good. I have a truck parked in there. I've only interacted with the manager when I first set up, but the customer service was good. The price is right. more

They are nice and accommodating at iStorage 50 East. I had to move into a bigger storage unit from a smaller one when moving things from my home, which took me a few days. They were pleasant during that process! more

The only complaint I had was that I was told I would have access from 6am to 9pm. When I showed up at 6am with my movers that I was paying by the hour I could not gain access. It was an hour before I could get in and that was only because the on site manager was coming out. That was frustrating. The facility is clean and convenient and very polite managers. more

I just got my unit at iStorage 50 East two weeks ago. They're right there. I had a problem with the gate the first time I went in and it was taken care of immediately. They seem really nice and helpful. This is my first time using them, but my daughter has a storage unit there and she recommended them to me. It's easy to access and the people that are there are very helpful. The storage unit was clean. I've used storage units before and you have to clean it yourself before you get there to put your stuff in, but this one was clean when we got there. For me, it's also really convenient because it's located just across the highway from me. more
