Review content:
First off I think the manager, Buck, at iStorage 50 East is a good person to work with. He's very accommodating, and I really like him. I've been using iStorage since late October, and it's been excellent.
One thing I didn't like was I got a little generic letter that said they were going to start charging me about $9 dollars a month for insurance. That bothered me because I have insurance for my unit on file with them that covered 20 times what they were offering. Forcing you to buy this stuff when you have your own that exceeds what's being offered is bad customer relations. I almost called the insurance division, but I didn't. Instead I called Buck, and he told me not to worry about it. He said he had my insurance on file and he sent the information to corporate, but they still sent the letter to everyone. He diffused the situation and handled it very well. But on corporate's part that was bad customer relations.
The only other thing is that I really wish they had access 24/7, not just the 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM arrangement. Other than that, I've been very pleased with the property and the local staff.
