We were there last night ..The place was packed...combination of europians and Americans.Was very pleasant...I am little bit of shock about the previous review as well...To me who ever wrote this review does not have any clue about spanish food.I also highly suggest that person to take a look at the NEW YORK TIMES sunday issues to see Spain's upcoming high end can products..Yes they use some of these products in a very genious way but their hot tapas selection comes right out from the oven or grill...Obviously these people opinions were only one sited..They did not try the hot tapas dishes...Again very happening place ..we were glad to be there Pros: parking hospitality, informative service, great food more

Does someone from CitySearch own this place or something? i see nothing but 'great review's for a place that really is not so great. better tapas than spain? where were you people eating before this? out of a garbage can? the food here is mediocre at best! extremely overprice for the microscopic portions you get. being from spain, i would so enthusiatically recommend this place. i wish someone had half a brain to notice the extreme similarities between all the previous reviews and realize that they were written by either the restaurant under different names or the owners family and friends. I've discovered this tapas bar last week..And tonight was my fourth visit there..I just can't get enough of this place ..I am still trying to taste everything in the menu..Everyday they have new specials too..It is hard to keep up with them..these guys are serious and they definately know what are they doing..top notch food, service.. This beautiful, europian tapas bar has so much to offer....Iwas there once with a big party..this time I decided to take my boy friend there. We let our host to choose the specials for us...so we tried black mediterrian mussels with white wine,monk fish liver pate,grilled fresh anchovies,dry cured tuna....The menu is also so big..I can't belive the chef is producing so much specials with great quality and price range..The service is very attentive and professional....oupps.I forgot about chocolate souffle..they told us they have customers take the trip from manhattan to have this heavenly dessert...No doubt after try the souffle , I will do the same thing.......... It was definately worth for a trip to Williamsburg.Such a cozy,fun tapas place.The menu was so colorful...We did not have reservation.Dining room was packed.But they did accomodate us at the bar.Even though bar was so buzy, our bartender took her time to explain their wonderfull specials..and suggested the dishes that we really enjoyed..grilled calamary,fresh anchovies....monk fish liver pate....this place has endless things to offer...thanksssssssssss Pros: great food, excellent service, close to manhattan more

My friends refferred this cute tapas place.And for the Easter weekend I wanted to take my boyfriend's family here.We enjoyed everything.The menu has so many things to try.We have to make couple more trips to try them all.They had daily specials as well.I was crazy about baked mussels with bechamel, cured salmon , loin of pork, baby calamari, shrimp with garlic....at rhe end we tried the chocolate souffle...the best chocolate dessert ever...Trully amazing experience... this is exactly what a tapas restaurant should be. everyone that works there seems like they've been off the plane from spain for just enough time to cook & serve your meal. they are all incredibly friendly, giving u advice on what not to miss on the menu, travel tips to Spain (go Madrid before Barcelona), and serve up the very cheap ($5-$6) tapas, quick, fast & hot. they have many unique tapas....definetly try the pork served with onions & bread and the spreadable chorizo. they also have 5-8pm 2-for-1 drink happy hour which means we were drinking their incredible sangria for $2.50 a glass. fun little adventure for manhattanites to bedford (1st stop on L train in brooklyn), frankly i'd never been there before....was very cool, very ethnic felt a bit like haight ashbury with all the artist types & cafes everywhere. try it, you'll love it. I've took my friends to try couple od Sspanish Tapas places in the city.Zipi Zape was our last stop and the finest.....It only takes 5 minutes trip from Manhattan...The foie gras special was excellent..the tradional patatas bravas , tortilla was delicious..We tried most of the dishes.Each of them was unique and nicely done....The staff is all from Spain, friendly and prompt...We trully enjoyed this tapas bar and recommend it to everyone... Our friends suggested this tapas bar..They also mentioned their weekend is always busy..So we decided to go tuesday night.We tried their cold tapas tasting for 10 ..it was extremely colorful and tasty.Then we moved on to the hot dishes.Bacalau special was perfect.Bechamel croquetas was to die for..like Zagat guide said..It was crunchy outside and runny inside..Loin of pork dish was perfectly seasoned...Spanish cheese plate has perfect selection.It was a very pleasant and enjoyable night....
