Zen Spa is wonderful to feel pampered and relax. 8/2/2011

I have been going to Zen Spa for over 4 years now. I love it! I've had pink and whites on for 11 years now and it was expensive and took 2 hrs before I found Tina and her employees at Zen Spa. Tina is my nail tech but there have been times when she wasn't available so another Nail tech helped me. Every employee knows what they are doing and treats me with respect and listens to my needs. I have had mainly my nails done but I've also had massages for my husband there, eye brows waxed, pedicures. My 18 years old daughter frequents them as well and she has always been very satisfied with there work. I have had an appt with Tina and spur of the moment brought in my best friend to come with me for a pedicure. She was delighted with their service. I've been happy with all of the services that I have used at the salon and it's clean and friendly. I feel pampered and taken care every time I go. I go at least twice a month and sometimes three times for the last 4 years. They are GREAT and WONDERFUL!!! Wouldn't think of going anywhere else!! more

40.00 hot rock massage- After Owner Tina said come back 6/20/2011

So, my friend called Tina, the owner yesterday and told her about our experience. She seemed very nice and like she would right this wrong. We were told to be there around 5:15. We got there just after 5 and there was only one girl in the shop, that we saw. She put us in the chairs to soak. 15 minutes went by and Tina came out looked at our feet to see if we were rough or smooth, then said she would only redo heels. She said to soak a little longer. She went back to her office and we sat there another 15 minnutes. SOAKING Finally she comes out and we asked to make sure that she was going to redo the pedicure since we were charged for a service we did not get. When we both explained to her that the service we paid for was not what was published she argued and said that she has been open for 7 years and no problems ever. Tina is not professional and does not care if her employees do not do their job properly. I would not be suprised if she nor her employees are not licensed. We gave Tina a chance to make this right. Now she will see exactly what an unhappy customer that was robbed of 40.00 by not giving the service paid for as advertised. more

Zen Spa-should be Crap Spa 6/11/2010

Dont know how to pedicures or manicures. Ask for toenails to be cut down, everyone uses clippers not here they use the nippers. Awful pedicure, no scrub. Pedicure she was praticing on me. She filled and they were crooked and she had to remove them, one by one. The owner had to do them. She made them so thin that i can see my real nail beneath. 2 days later nails chipping breaking. i have never been to a nail salon that charges to shorten your nails at the same time they are filling them. JUST A CRAPPY SALON- DO NOT GO!!!!!! Cons: Not customer oriented, charge for things they should more

Worst experience EVER!!!! 1/12/2009

On New Years Eve I went into Zen Spa for a manicure, pedicure, and eye brow waxing. The manicure and pedicure were just OK... nothing special at all. The real disaster came when I had my eye brows waxed. I have been getting waxed for 18 years now so I am no stranger to the process. When the lady put the wax onto my skin it burned and stung really bad. When she ripped it off I just about jumped off of the table. My skin was bright bright bright red and it wasn't until I got home and was able to look up close that I found that she had ripped the skin right off of my face. I was literally missing 2 large patches of skin right directly under my eyebrows. I had to go to the doctor and get a special cream to put on them. He said that what happend was the wax was so hot it burned my skin and then when she removed the cloth it pulled the dead skin right off of my face. I am so glad that I had decided not to get the brazillian!! When I called the Salon they told me to come back in and that they would ""fix"" it. Not sure how they were going to achieve this without skin graphs! I didn't go back in.... I will NEVER go back in. I couldn't even go out on New Years because I couldn't put make up on for a week! But of course they don't care about that. more

Long Lasting at a Great Price! 3/17/2005

I took my mom for a spa manicure and pedicure and we both loved it. They may be in a shopping center, but the quality is that of a fancy spa. The color on our toes lasted over two weeks. The staff is friendly and very detailed. You get a lot for the great price! Check them out! They do waxing, massage, etc, but I didn't try any of those...yet. Pros: Inexpensive, Long Lasting Color more
