"I've been really impressed by the treatment I've gotten at Dr. Yahav's office. The office is great - easy to get to, very well organized, comfortable, clean and has state of the art technology (I've never had x-rays done so quickly). When I came as a new patient, my gums had been giving me trouble for some time. While previous dentists had (for several years) assured me that with enough flossing this would stop, Dr. Yahav quickly diagnosed the problem and scheduled me for a deep cleaning two days later. The procedure was quick, nearly painless, and a few days later my gums were completely healed. Throughout the procedure, and in the follow-up visit, Dr. Yahav was amazing. He was efficient, communicated effectively with his technicians, and was very responsive and friendly to me. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an Evanston dentist, and especially to Northwestern students. Dr. Yahav is a Northwestern alum himself, and he makes you feel right at home. The office has experience with the NU student dental plan, so there was no difficulty with paperwork or payments. And, the office is really easy to get to from campus." more

Dr. Yahav came highly recommended from Rush University Medical Hospital in Chicago as an excellent Dr. for the treatment of TMJ. After a serious accident in March of 2009, one of the problems I suffered from was severe headaches and whiplash due to head trauma. After a thorough exam by Dr. Yahav, he explained that my jaw socket was actually dislocating each time I moved my mouth and that my upper jaw had actually shifted forward from the impact of the motor vehicle accident. After grinding off various teeth to help realign my mouth I was fitted with a custom built mouth appliance to wear twenty-four / seven. Within hours I felt relief. Although I still suffer from the headaches occasionally, the appliance Dr. Yahav crafted and Dr. Yahav's follow up expertise have made a huge difference in how I am progressing to recovery. I cannot thank Dr. Yahav enough and his great staff who have always been so kind and accommodating to me. more

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Yahav for the past 4 years and have been very happy with our care. Dr. Yahav, his office staff and dental assistants are friendly, attentive and sensitive to our needs during our visits. Yes, Dr. Yahav is busy, often seeing a couple patients while you are receiving a cleaning, or waiting to be numbed., but this is a practice no different from the over 8 dentists I have seen prior to moving to Chicago. I appreciate the efficiency so that I do not have to wait very long. Dr. Yahav is always available for questions or concerns during your cleaning, though. I am most impressed with the level of technology in his office. I can see the tooth decay on the computerized x-rays and then with his video camera after he has drilled a cavity. This confirms that he was correct in suggesting a certain treatment and is not trying to make money off of needless fillings. We always recommend Dr. Yahav to our friends and coworkers without hesitation. more

I've been going to Dr. Yahav for the last four years (initially while I was doing my Kellogg MBA). He's a great Doc. I am very happy with the work he has done on my fillings (one needed a replacement), my smile (I got Invisiline), and my on going cleanings. He's a Northwestern dental grad, so he obviously has a great dental education. I've been with him for the last four years. I would recommend his work to anyone. more

I came in having had major trouble with a tooth that had been through an abcess, infection, root canal and a crown - and still I had tremendous ache and pain. Dr, Yahav went right to the heart of the matter and realized the gums surrounding the crown were getting inflamed. He immediately recommended gum resection surgery to solve the problem. The procedure was smooth and as painless as can be. I have to say, I am much much better now. It was terrific the way he realized the problem and solved it in a very professional way. I have had many problems in the past with my bite. A feeling of the teeth not being in alignment, which is distracting. Several dentists have tried to take some action, but nothing worked. Dr. Yahav analyzed the situation, and immediately realized that another crown was too high. He took care of it promptly, decisively and correctly. What a relief! Now, I have had three dental implants put in by Dr. Yahav, with more to come. Again, his work was smooth, professional and as pain-free as can be. He is an expert. I recommend him to anyone who wants professional dental surgery by someone who really cares and does a real good job. The Best. more
