I have visited Dr. Yahav twice thus far. Once at his Chicago location and the next time at his Park Ridge location. He explains procedures before performing them which I appreciated because I like to know what is going on and to feel prepared. His staff was very friendly at both locations. Dr. Yahav is an Invisalign provider and that is how I found out about him. I have completed my Invisalign treatment and I am happy with the results. He is up to date with technology and procedures in the dental field. more

When I went to Dr. Yahav's office I was scheduled to have my teeth cleaned and have a few fillings replaced. The office was very nice so that put me at ease while waiting (only about 10mins) for my work to get done. When it was all said and done I was very pleased with the work he did. I will probably go there again if I need any more work done. more

Dr. Yahav is wonderful. I have been going to him since 2003 and he has been great. His staff is wonderful, and his bedside manner is superb -- attentive and friendly. I am always able to get an appointment in a timely fashion, and the technology he uses in his office is great. He is cognizant of overall oral health as well as the condition of the teeth, noting features of my mouth shape that can make flossing difficult or plaque buildup more likely and suggesting ways to counteract such problems. more

This is my first time visiting Dr. Yahav and I am pleased with the treatment received today. I had an excellent cleaning and a painless extraction done fast. Not only he treated me with professionalism, explaining me the procedure step by step, but also offered me accessible payment plans. I am definitely going back!! more

Today was my first appointment with Dr Yahav. I felt a bit guilty being there while I have a dentist in my family, but I was soon at ease. The office is conveniently located, and the staff is great. My cleaning and exam went quickly, I felt that I received personal attention, a through explanation of treatment, and my oral health. I only wish I had gone to Dr Yahav sooner. more

This is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. The staff is very courteous and helpful. I started going to Dr. Yahav a couple of years ago when I did not have insurance and he was very accomadating with working out a pay plan. I just had some work done recently and he has handled me with the greatest professionalism. I would highly reccommend him to anyone who cares about quality service and reasonable rates. more

I had a very good experience with Dr. Yahav. Because of neglect, my teeth needed major work to be done. After a thorough examination, he let me know what options I had and the cost of those options. I made my choices, and in under a month's time had several major procedures done, including implants, veneers, and inlays and feel like a new person. I've now finished all the work from my original visits over the summer (the implant procedure takes months because of healing that needs to be done) and am very happy that I chose Dr. Yahav. Both Dr. Yahav and his staff were excellent during the appointments - very attentive and friendly - and Dr. Yahav called me at home after the most intensive appointments to make sure that I was doing ok. The office also offered a financing plan, which was crucial given the amount of work I needed to get done. I definitely recommend him to people in the area looking for a dentist. Most of my visits were to the Park Ridge office, which was extremely convenient for me, as it's within a mile of my office. Some of the other reviews mention him being pushy and expensive. I didn't find him to be pushy personally. He did advocate procedures that cost a significant amount of money for me, but explained why they were necessary and the consequences of not following that treatment path and left it in my hands. I did spend more money than I thought I was going to have to at first, but I'm very happy with the results and am very thankful that I found a dentist that helped me correct my mistakes. Also, I thought they did a great job on pain management during the numerous procedures I had to endure and made the whole process a little less scary for me than it had been going in. more

My family and I have been clients of Dr. Yahav's for 15 years. Our family has had everything from veneers, to root canals, to crown procedures done at his practice and have had a very pleasant experience. The staff is very professional and friendly, the 3 offices are fully equipped, and the doctor takes time to explain the procedures he thinks are necessary. We trusted the quality of his work so much that we had our parents fly in from Russia to have their teeth done at Dr. Yahav's office. Also, the wait is usually not very long if you have an appointment. Would definitely recommend very highly. more

I have been going to Dr. Yahav for over two years. I have undergone a range of procedures including cleaning, extraction, bonding, crown, implants, and veneers. His staff has always been courteous and professional and I have never had to wait beyond the appointed time. Dr. Yahav is thorough and exacting, using the latest technology to determine the best possible treatment. I would never want my teeth to be cleaned the old fashioned scraping way after experiencing the quick, efficient water jet. Dr. Yahav always takes the time to explain what he wants to do and why. Perhaps some people have misinterpreted his passion to provide the proper treatment as ""pressure"". He genuinely cares about my oral health and has never once advocated any procedure that was superfluous to me keeping my mouth healthy. He has personally called me at home after two extractions to ensure that I was doing okay and not suffering any pain or adverse reaction to medication. When I have had emergencies, he has always scheduled me for the next working morning appointment. I have seen many dentists in my life time and have never encountered one as good as Dr. Yahav. I highly recommend him. more

I have only be seeing Dr Yahav for a 1 1/2 years. He cares what his patients think and he has always taken the time to explain procedures to me. Additionally, his staff is extremely courteous and helpful, and his prices are extremely competitive (i.e. great!) I feel very comfortable there and have had the opportunity to meet past clients who have been seeing him for many years. more

I have been a patient of doctor Yahavs for several years. I have received many procedures from him (including a full set of veneers) and i could not be more satisfied. I am constantly told how beautiful my teeth are (tho ill never admit they're not mine :) ) I have honestly never felt as well taken care of at any other doctors office. The staff there is always so sweet and helpful. I appreciate how they took the time out to explain all their concerns and the benefits of each procedure I've had done. I was very nervous at 1st about seeing a new dentist but i could not have chosen a better dentist to see. Dr. Yahav is awesome!!! I went to the same dentist since i was a child back in MI and when i moved here to Chicago i had to bite the bullet and find a new dentist. Yahav made me feel welcomed, was very nice and very professional. I got in right away for an appointment and did not have to wait long once i got to the office. The Michigan Ave. office is convenient if you work downtown and the view is spectacular when getting your teeth cleaned!! I highly recommend Dr. Yahav. more

Had to get my wisdom teeth pulled. I was recommended by a family member to go to Dr. Yahav. Great decision. I did not know what to expect but I was very surprised. He knew that I was nervous and he really calmed me. He took the time out to explain exactly what was going on. I was very swollen after the procedure, but was extremely happy to have gotten my wisdom teeth pulled by a dentist who cared more

I've been a patient of Dr. Yahav's for about two years now and I love how friendly the staff is. Dr. Yahav did an inlay on one of my back teeth a few months ago and it feels so much better than the composite filling I had there. I felt nothing during the procedure, he numbed my complete left side.. I'm such a baby when it comes to my mouth. Kim and Bolar are the girls I've had my cleanings with and my teeth always feel 100% better after seeing them. more

Really? I don't know what some of the other posters are talking about. (Hmmm could some of the competition be stuffing the yelp box) I have been going to Dr. Yahav for several years an couldn't be happier! He did the lumineer veneers on my front teeth and I still (after two years) get compliments. Other dentists had told me that lumineers were not possible do to an issue with my teeth, but there have been no issues. As far as ripping people off....especially for a Water Tower dentist , he is very reasonable. He is always very honest and has actually encouraged me to put off procedures that I thought I needed. As far as the procelin inlays, yes they are more expensive than old fashioned fillings, but they feel better and look even better. The Dr. took the time to educate me about the benefits and why he doesn't do filings. Give the guy a try! more
