Dr. Yahav came highly recommended from Rush University Medical Hospital in Chicago as an excellent Dr. for the treatment of TMJ.
After a serious accident in March of 2009, one of the problems I suffered from was severe headaches and whiplash due to head trauma.
After a thorough exam by Dr. Yahav, he explained that my jaw socket was actually dislocating each time I moved my mouth and that my upper jaw had actually shifted forward from the impact of the motor vehicle accident. After grinding off various teeth to help realign my mouth I was fitted with a custom built mouth appliance to wear twenty-four / seven. Within hours I felt relief. Although I still suffer from the headaches occasionally, the appliance Dr. Yahav crafted and Dr. Yahav's follow up expertise have made a huge difference in how I am progressing to recovery.
I cannot thank Dr. Yahav enough and his great staff who have always been so kind and accommodating to me.
