A Great IT Partner 2/8/2012

On boarding a new vendor can be a daunting and stressful process, particularly when the impetus was because the previous vendor has failed in their performance. I certainly had reservations about this process and was not 100% positive it would go smoothly, especially given the transitional state with our office move. However, any reservations or anxiety I had around this process have been eradicated because of the professional, organized, and diligent performance of Marlon Sanchez. In a month of half, Marlon has been able to completely change and drastically improve the IT operations of our business. He has resolved known issues we have had for my entire tenure, documented more information than I could hope, and provided great ideas and strategic thinking to our ongoing transition. Marlon has been an absolute pleasure to work with and he is amazing asset to our organization and myself. I appreciate the dedication and efforts he has put into our organization, and I personally feel he cares about our organization's IT needs the way I care about them. If this is what can accomplished in a month and a half, I cannot wait to see what our future relationship with Xantrion holds. My confidence and trust in your business, recommendations, and decisions has been earned and that is not something I usually am able to do so quickly. I am very satisfied in our decision to move to Xantrion as our IT consultants (and partners) and sincerely look forward to our future endeavors together. more

The first and.....last IT company you will ever need!! 11/16/2011

I am an in-house IT director managing 3 separate offices and 5 additional satellite offices needing an outside IT company to assist with large and small projects. I was hesitant in the beginning due to past relationships with other companies who simply talked about what they could provide then never had the engineers to follow through. Happily this is not what you will EVER find with Xantrion! Every single engineer I have ever had to work with were not only efficient but went above and beyond in order to satisy my concerns or needs. I have had the privilege of working on many projects with Ben Ludwig; (the finest engineer I have ever worked with) whose passion for perfection in his art of IT is just something you have to experience! You dont find this caliber of engineers everyday and once you do you will never let go! Our most recent adoption of virtualization and implementation using Xantrion could not have gone any better thanks primarily to Ben and his expertise with virtualization. This is a top notch company who thrives in listening to the customer and delivering EXACTLY what they say they can! I hope to never have to look for another company again! I have been working in the IT field for the past 20 years consecutively and have never found even a close comparison! Thank you Xantrion! more

IT Support & Customer Service, Together at Last! Information technology support service and great customer service too seldom go hand-in-hand. Indeed, most consumers are accustomed to technical support workers who act like they’d rather be out to lunch than working to fix a computer after it breaks. It is a different story at Xantrion, whose friendly, knowledgeable engineers do not rest until all systems perform optimally. Xantrion has worked with the attorneys and other employees at Scott Cole & Associates, APC for years, and several of its engineers noted that our information technology apparatus is among the most advanced they’ve seen at any law firm. Xantrion personnel demonstrate a keen understanding of the firm’s needs, thus ensuring that our IT infrastructure seamlessly accommodates our practice thereby allowing us to focus on our clients’ legal needs. In fact, I recently worked with Xantrion engineer Mike Peth to address some routine maintenance issues. He quickly resolved them and went the extra mile to make further adjustments that materially enhanced my computer's performance. The bottom line is that these guys are a class act for whom technical support is a labor of love. They are always willing to work overtime and put in the hours to meet their clients’ needs. Expensive - Be Careful 2/3/2011

These guys took over for a contract that I left. I'm going to keep this objective. \r \r Immediately they started making recommendations. They recommended replacing our ASA 5510 Firewall (with 20 SSL Licenses) for a Sonicwall SOHO. Examine any fortune 500 company and see how many are on Sonicwall vs Cisco. Sonicwall does generously reward partners.\r \r Second recommendation - replace our Enterprise Kapersky with Symantec. Our Kapersky was good for servers, email server, and 2-years of licenses. Get the feedback of users happy with Symantec vs Kapersky. Symantec does also reward their partners with commission as well.\r \r Third recommendation - Replace existing tape backup system with online LiveVault. Client has a 3mb Internet connection backing up 100gb of data. All servers house onsite. (Email, CRM, and Sharepoint) Online Backup jobs running will render these services inoperable. LiveVault offers generous commission and they are also pushing client for a Co-Lo. (which offers commission as well)\r \r These guys will come in and start making changes immediately that will make it very hard to get them out. Evaluate their recommendations very careful to make sure they are best for the client and not because of the commission associated with them. They will be expensive.\r \r I think they will get the job done once they get you on their partner systems - just get expect to pay a lot. more

Love these guys 5/11/2008

Our firm had tried hiring people in house for years. The problem was that the one good guy got bored and left and then we had a guy who had no idea what they were doing caused more problems than he solved - he wanted to do everything the underdog way, linux, staroffice etc. I'm the office manager so I ended up handling the mess. After we couldn't send bills for a week I finally convinced the owner to let me find a consulting firm to work with. I interviewed 5 different Bay Area firms and chose Xantrion on the strength of their references and the fact that their contract had the fewest limitations - that is they took the most responsibility of anyone I talked to for thier work. I have been completely happy, things work, I don't get complaints like I used to, and I feel like I got what was promised, they don't nickel and dime you. Pros: Deliver on their promises Cons: They don't do phones yet - I wish they did more

Professional, Know their stuff!! 3/20/2008

We had gotten along ok as a business during our first couple of years but as we grew we found that we needed professional help - the last straw was when we spent - well lets just say it was way too much - on a guy who was a friend of a friend moonlighting from his day job - we got something that was way overbuilt, way too complicated and unreliable to boot. I found these guys through a business roundtable I belong to and it went just like you would hope. They did an assessment, presented a clean project and long term road map which we agreed to and then they executed as promised - on time on budget and great service since then. Pros: got everything I hoped for more

Worth It 9/24/2007

We had constant mystery problems with our systems, our former IT providers were always in ""firefighting mode"", somehow they never managed to get ahead of the game despite a continuous stream of expensive bills for ""after hours"" and emergency service. I called Xantrion after a friend at the Oakland Zoo (who also use them) gave me their name. \r \r They did an assessment of our network and recommended some changes which we had them make - these were farily pricy but you get what you pay for and I have to say we have not had problems since. We signed a support contract with them and have been happy with their service. Pros: Great service more

These folks were referred to us by another accounting firm. They really know their stuff and are easy to work with. We are never down, we can get help right away when we need it. Really I can't say enough, things just work, we pay a fixed price and get all you can eat service, nights and weekends included. Highly recommended. Pros: Awesome service more

Excellent Service 9/11/2004

After struggling for months with our former consultants we called these folks on a recommendation. They solved the problems we had been having with our mail server in short order and provided service the same day we called.
