At Revive Salon & Spa and the staff in are always courteous and professional. At Revive Salon & Spa does a wonderful job on my hair. I wouldn`t go anywhere else!

I was looking for a new stylist because mine had just had a baby and would no longer be doing hair. I was asking one of my girlfriends who she saw because her color always looks fresh and the style always looks clean. Pros: Friendly, educated, skilled, amazing!! more

Picky new resident of AZ finds her new stylist 5/9/2010

I just moved here from Portland and I was very sad to leave my stylist of 10 years. I saw a lady at the grocery store with fabulous color and I asked her who she got her hair done by. She referred me to Alysha at XS Salon. I was nervous and hesitant about going to a new stylist. I am a little picky so I met with Alysha for a consultation first. We hit it off instantly and she was so easy to talk to. She even offered to call my previous stylist and talk to her about what I like done with my hair. I made an appointment and got my highlights done the next week I love my hair. I like my highlights more natural looking and she did a awesome job. I am so happy I have found my stylist. I will be going to Alysha for years to come. I would recommend smooth jazz or calming music to match the salon ambiance Pros: Great ambiance and great stylist Cons: music choice more

Get the best color. 4/11/2010

I'm a hairdresser so I'm extremely picky. I'll tell you straight forth I don't go to anyone other than Brook Dunning at this salon. She's a certified Redken Colorist which isn't one of the lines they carry at this salon but it shows a level of experience and talent in the industry. I've been seeing Brook for 6 years, so I'm not exaggerating when I tell you she's really good. The salon's beautiful. Personally I couldn't really care about what some of the other reviews mention because I know the inner workings of a business and I'm happy with the way my hairdresser takes care of me. I go there to relax, get my hair done and leave happy every time. If you're looking for a good cut/color for a really reasonable price than check her out. I promise you won't be disappointed. Great sylists, great salon 4/2/2010

I found my stylist Brook Dunning over a year ago after a hair color disaster. She corrected the problem perfectly and has been my stylist since then! She is very talented and attentive to what her client wants. The staff at XS Salon are always friendly and helpful as well - making for a great overall experience! Horrible Color and No Customer Loyalty 12/27/2009

After using the same salon owner/stylist (Sayoko) for 5 years I had a Jr. stylist (Alex) do my cut and color. She left me with chunky color, horrible hot-spots, and barely trimmed the hair. I came in for a re-do and the salon agreed the hair treatment was awful, but then they charged me $30 for the re-do because she said they didn't charge me enough the first time. To make things worse, the hot spots and brassy chunks came back after a few washings. So after $130 and 5 hours in their salon my hair looks like my 1st grader colored it. I am finding a new stylist. Pros: Good Haircut Cons: Horrible color - Unable to fix it. No loyalty more

The stylists are so rude 11/17/2009

I went to Xs Salon to get my hair colored and it turned out horrible! My blonde turned yellow and brassy within a week and when I called back to get it fixed they blew me off and told me they couldnt fit me in. Also, from the second I walked into the salon the girls who worked there were rude and stuck up! They acted like they we better then me or something when I was the one paying them!!! Dont ever go here Cons: Everything about this salon is horrible! more

I see Julie Gates and Stephanie Petteruti at XS Salon. They are my two favorite girls to go to. They are creative and professional woman. Julie has cut my husbands hair and does great with mens cuts. Stephanie is and extension specialist and does great color! Nice salon, cozy environment. Can't go wrong as long as you book your appointment with either of these gals! Just dont mind some of the crazy gals at the front desk : ) Pros: two of the best stylists! Cons: frustrating front desk and management staff more

WORST COLOR JOB EVER!!!!!!!!! 9/20/2009

I explicitly told my stylist that I did NOT want the chunky look, instead I wanted the blended natural sun-kissed look. I came away with chunks ALL over! The manager came over and said the chunks were ""in"" and that I looked great. The manager and the stylist were more concerned that they liked my hair and less worried that I had to live with it. I did go back 2 weeks later to have it ""fixed"" and it went very brassy! NEVER again will I go back! Pros: They could fit me in anytime. Cons: No wonder their schedule was open- nobody can do color! more

Best Salon Ever!! 9/18/2009

I have been to this salon for two and half years. The staff is very professional and welcoming to their clients. My hairstylist is Lisa and she was very attentive to my needs and listened to the concerns that I have with my hair. XS Salon and Spa is a one stop oasis for all your beauty needs including hair coloring and styling, massage, facials, manicures, and pedicures. Bad customer service 7/1/2009

Do not buy gift certificates here. My husband bought a $250 gift certificate there. I used all but $77 of it and was told by the front desk person that even though there is an expiration date, they really dont expire. I was told today that they would not honor the remaining balance because it expired and now I am out that $77. Please do not spend your money here, there are better businesses out there that want to keep their customers! Pros: Location Cons: Bad customer service more

Worst Customer Service EVER!!!! 7/8/2008

I have gone to this salon a handful of times each time hoping for a better more inviting experience. I have had spa services in which I feel very rushed and the nail services are anything but relaxing. It felt as if I was in highschool listening to grown women complain about all the employees and even previous clients. Very uncomfortable. The front desk is probably the most unpleasant to speak to let alone look at. You would think being the first impression of a salon you would be cosmetically done up. Not in this case. They are very unprofessional and could care less about pleasing clients. Pretty decor but all in all very disappointing. Cons: Poor Customer Service more

Worst haicut ever!!!! 8/19/2007

I would not recommend this place to anyone. Do not be fooled by the nice, and relaxing ambience. I went in to get two inches taken off my hair. Instead I found an unexprienced hairstylist who left my hair all choppy, unporpotioned, and random strands here and there. She called her manager over and I told the manager that my hair was choppy. The manager told me she had no idea what I was talking about. This is very very sad because I am not a loud person so I paid and left. When I got home my whole family agreed that a blind monkey could do better. I am so sad for my hair, because now I am going to have to take 2 or more inches off to fix it, something I didn't want to do. They should have paid me for have that girl practice on me. Pros: ambience Cons: unexperienced hair stylist who does not know how to cut hair. more
