Worthing Crest Apartments

The new office staff is rude and disrespectful! If your air conditioning breaks on a 100 degree day (which it will since it's so old) they will not be quick to show up at your door to fix it. That goes for all repairs. I made the mistake of renewing my lease before the new management took over, and I regret it every day. The trash is always overflowing, they don't mow the grass behind the apartments, and there is dog waste everywhere. The pool is dirty and rarely gets cleaned. They run the waterfall, but not the filters. The computer/fax service is no longer avaliable to residents. The workout equipment is broken. I have had 3 water leaks and my air has broken twice. This is in the month of August alone. My hot water tank died and let out of the water it was holding. They are not responsible, so make sure you get good renters insurance here. They say they give advanced notice before entering your apartment, but I've caught their staff in here twice without notice (great when I'm a single female). The security gate NEVER works, yet they continue to advertise as a gated community. Pros: lots of parking Cons: rude staff, old broken apartments, slow repairs, pet waste everywhere, dirty, noisy more

My son fell out of our second floor apartment and the complex did nothing. They would not even put a warning about window safety in their newsletter. Don't live here if you have kids. more

The only reason I hesitate to give this community top rating is because I'll just be moving in in a few days, so better leave myself a margin for afterward, just in case. But, I tell you, I painstakingly searched one disappointing complex after another, until I was disgusted and a little scared. If the place wasn't a dump altogether, the leasing consultant was unacceptable. If the structure was sound, the square footage was unacceptable, etc, etc, etc. Youknow the drill. \r \r Then I found Worthing Crest (through Michael at Promove--it's free and he's a sweetheart) in a matter of 2-3 hours one day. Went, saw. loved, applied. Huge space--1355', great location, beautiful grounds, lots of amenities, gated, great floorplans (4), priced right, Heather Scalzitti, my leasing agent, was (and continues to be) a doll--sweet, friendly, courteous, patient--just a dream. I also met Flossie once who was nice too. There were some bad reviews previously when they had a ""Stephanie"" there (apparently she fell short as a leasing consultant), but she is no longer there. I tell you, short of somehow miraculously being able to buy a condo in future, I expect to spend rest of my life here. You gotta see it!! Plus, they have a $400 resident referral reward! I can't wait until Saturday to move in--and light a fire in my new fireplace, which is between two of my built-in bookcases! ;^) Pros: Drawers in bathrooms!! (Rare, in case you haven't found this out.). Big ups! ;^) Cons: Single stainless sink in kitchen instead of double. My only thumbs down! more
