Fascist dump. You're hearing it from someone who graduated. 4/12/2013

Do not waste time attending this state subsidized dictatorship!\r I spent a year in this place. The dormitories will not properly accommodate anyone who is a third gender to sustain gender equality and they reeked of mold and feet. the water in the showers barely ever warm. No accommodations for those who suffer from social anxiety. My civil rights have been violated on numerous occasions. I was harassed by the night security guy and labeled a witch like we're still living in the 15th century. Attending CAD class, Jim Reissig had the nerve to call me to his office just to confront me about how I chose to express myself through my own attire which is an expression of my creativity. I found this ""facility"" to be a perfect example of the typical oppressive institutions run by the establishment (conform, obey, submit, ect.). Any expression of individual creativity is quickly ostracized.\r \r I graduated with a CAD certificate and never found a job. Later on I had revealed that my talents could go much further than the vastly limiting curriculums of this facility. I moved on and utilized my dark avant-garde creativity and became an artist and activist with MUCH more income than that of the average cad drafter and I will continue doing what I love. more

Warning-Do NOT attend this ""school"" 3/2/2010

I attended this school and took their Accounting Certificate program which was about 6 months long. The counselors, location-trashy area-other students and various other things were the worst thing I have ever come in contact with. I came out of the school with NO job leads, NO help for the counselors, and I am still....STILL without a job- And the certificate is useless. I know NOTHING about accounting! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. DO NOT!!!! Go to a community college or something. Just don't go here. You will deal with petty drama and crap from the other trashy students. You will deal with the bitchy and rude unprofessional staff. This place is not just for those with a disability/out of work. It is for ex convicts, homeless people! TRASHY place. Pros: Variety of majors/subjects Cons: Location, classes, counselors more

My buddy's baaaad experience at Workforce/Tech Cntr Baltimore, MD 1/16/2009

I have done a couple of reviews about WORKFORCE/TECH Cntr in Baltimore, MD and let me say that the reviews are not good. My buddy went to WTC in the fall of 2002 (October 2002) and she went to the voc evaluations that was going to be 3-4 weeks long. When her ""time"" was up, she was told by her supervisor that there wasn't anything else new for her to accomplish so....she was sent home without proper notification to family members (e-mail, letters, phone calls, etc were not accomplished). After a 1 year ""absence"" from WTC, my buddy went there again in the spring of 2003 for a pre-admissions interview, etc. Then, she was enrolled at WTC in the spring of 2003. She came home around June 2003 or July 2003 complaining of an earache, etc. My buddy and her mom and my buddy's DORS counselor (a man) went to WTC for a meeting. They (the staff) at WTC told my buddy, her mom and my buddy's DORS counselor that my buddy was not progressing well academically and/or vocationally with the other students in her class. So, she was dismissed again without proper notifications-e-mail, telephone calls, letters, etc. to family members. My buddy said that she felt scared to be in the city because of so much crime/violence in the area (shootings, muggings, stabbings, rapes, etc). So, WTC shame on all of you. If I were grade you, you would receive a f for failing. :( I don't know how WTC handles their students ""grades"" in the classrooms, etc. So my question is this: Is this the way that WTC handles students? Hmmmmmmm. So WTC is NOT RECOMMENDED FOR ANYONE. :( Pros: no pros Cons: Bad school enviroment :( more
