Marginal experience 5/1/2011

Terrible experience!! Never use this company again! IF I COULD RATE 0 STARS I WOULD! I was stuck with my car off the road. I did a google search with my phone and called woody's because they seemed to be the closest location. Driver had a horrible customer service attitude. He caused some damage to the car's fender while pulling it out and when I asked about it he said it'll pop back in. It doesn't! Estimate over the phone was $75 to $100...driver charged $125 just to pull the car back onto the road. My guess is due to his discomfort (it was raining out) he charged the extra. I can't do anything since I paid him in cash and don't have a receipt but I'll never use them again and will let my friends and relatives in that area know of our experience. more

Great job after snow storm 2/16/2011

2011 snow storm I slid my van against a tree. I didn't have much hope for getting it towed out without getting more damage. I was very pleasantly surprized to have a very experienced operator tow my van clear of the tree without any damage and at a fair price. more

DO NOT GO TO WOODYS THEY WILL SCAM YOU 2/3/2010

Eveytime I have dealt with woodys they have scammed or ripped me off in some fashion. When I speak to friends and family about how poorly woodys service was to me it seems as if everyone of them have their own horror story involving woodys. more

Price Gouging!!!!!! 10/23/2007

I live just down the road and called for some prices on repairs. It is highway robbery just to bleed the breaks, they wanted $75 to do that and I could get a whole break job including pads at other shops for under $70?.. I would call around before going here if you want a good price!! more

What you would expect. 11/12/2005

Nothing special about Woody's towing. They got lost coming to pick up our truck and I was amazed that they did not have a map in their truck and their facility does not have access to the internet to MapQuest addresses. They were nice enough to drop our truck off at the dealership for repair but they did not wait around to tell the service department whose truck it was. more

Need some help? 7/27/2005

Woodys has all your towing needs, 24 hours a day. They can truely do it all. Battery died? They can come to you and give you a jump start. How about gas? They also offer an out of gas service! Vehicle recovery, unlick service and even underwater recovery are offered with a diver on duty. Amazed?? I am. A mechanic is on duty, ready for heavy duty truck work and a low boy service is on site as well. Want to do it yourself>a 50 ton wrecker crane is also for hire. The phone is answered 24 hours a day and they have been around over 30 years!! more
