These people once told me my engine was blown. I had the car towed to a real service shop and they had my car running 3 hours later. Intake Manifold, $500 total. All they do is tell you several things are wrong with your car. Its sell, sell, sell. Find a corner/neighborhood shop. You'll be much better off. more

It is very important to have all details before comparing pricing. Customer states they were overcharged from $2-$300.00 dollars and claims other shop found "No reason to charge 4+hours" yet Mitchell repair a National recogonized company which most repair shops use gives 4.1 hours to replace water pump. In this case customer had 02 Saturn L300 with 3.0L DOHC engine, It appears other shops quoted this job as L200 which is 2.6 hours to replace water pump and different parts needed. Sometimes thier can be breakdown in communication but I assure you if given the chance these problems can be corrected. Customer satisfaction refund was made to this customer. My wife went in to get a wheel balance, they tried to sell her tires, she only wanted the balance. They charged her $50, and when we got the car back, they had not moved, or added one weight. They again tried to say it was the tires, not the balance. We went to another shop, and they balanced the wheels, car stopped wobbling, and confirmed that Woodbury Goodyear did NOTHING. So they took our money, and didn't do ANY work! DO NOT TRUST THEM! They will take your money, and run! Please do not make the same mistake we did, by trusting your money with them, and assuming they will do the job that you paid for. BEWARE!!!!! more

This was a horrible experience. We had the car towed here to replace the water pump and serpentine belt. Not only did they over charge us by $2-300 (based on other local estimates) but they also mis-quoted us for $700 on a bill that finally totalled over $1000.00 The technitian (Jason) was rude and defensive when we demanded an explaination for the mis-quote. He said he never told us that and said the original quote did not include shop fees and "other stuff". Consumer beware - take your business elsewhere! more

I had my car at the shop to get my windshield wipers repaired. Larry the Store Manager had called and said that his Technician had slipped and his wrench had cracked the windshield and they were going to get it replaced as soon as possible. I informed him that it was cracked prior to us bringing it to them and he told me that it got worse and he would have it replaced at no cost to me. That is great customer service. First and last time visit, Wednesday 14th, 07 I stopped by for an oil change and wheels rotation my 94 Saturn (with approx./180,000 miles) He explained what the car needed and I got the oil change and wheels rotation. On my way home I heard some "odd noise" on the passenger front side every time I turned. I thought it was probably because the rotation of the wheels the car was going to feel a bit different and park the car on my driveway. The following morning at 7 AM (Thursday 15th)I brought my 04 Sebring convertible (w/ 28,000 miles) for an oil change too. They found on this vehicle a main transmission fluid leak and the estimate to replace the "Solenoid Pack. Pan Gasket and Hoses" was apron. $700-$800. I went with the Chrysler the dealer and they confirmed that PARAMOUNT AUTO SERVICE' diagnostic was correct but the Dealer total was $ 332 ($418-468 difference!). Friday morning the 16th my 94 Saturn on the driveway with a flat front tire! When I inspected I saw that 4 hub-caps were cracked and placed off center from the air valve, causing the the inside of the hub-cap to pushed the air valve "in" a 45º angle, so air was leaking from the side of the valve. Also the loud scraping sound was coming from a plastic cover they removed from the inside of the fender area. causing it scrape the front wheel. The Store Manager Larry Clough denied they would place the hub-caps wrong and denied they broke them. He suggested they broke because they were cheap quality and was not going to replace them. After a few minutes of arguing, he's deal was "I will refund or replace them when you bring back the car for other services suggested or when you bring back the 04 sebring to fix the transmission problem! (the $700-$800 estimate). AVOID this place! more
