THANK YOU TO ALL THE HONEST REVIEWERS OUT THERE!! I am in the process of moving and needed new furniture. I saw an ad on Craiglist for a sectional sofa that would be perfect for my new place and space. So I called the number and left a message. Soon I received a call back from "Peter" who told me a story about "helping out a friend with his overstocked items at his warehouse in Martinez. He said there were originally 8 of them but they were down to 4 as of today ( the post said it had been up for 15 days ). I said " great, I like it and want it, can I pay for it and just have it delivered?". This is where I got suspicious because he said I HAD to make an appointment to Martinez to buy it. I said I live on the other side of the bay and it really is not convenient at all to go all the way out there to buy something I know I want. Then he said that they have lots of sofa's like it in different price ranges and that I had to come there. ( red flag ). Again, I said I didn't have the time and why can't I just buy it and have it delivered.....no die, he said, and to call him back when I could make it out there. After I hung up I had the feeling that it was a bait and switch job and then I decided to google the number and found all the "real" reviews that confirmed my hunch. Because of you honest people I have saved my self time and grief with these crooks and I now hope my post will do the same for others. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you !!!!!! more

I got a couple of very good deals at Woodberry Trading. I bought a mattress for myself and my husband and came back with my brother to get some mattresses for his kids. It was great and I found everyone to be very fair and reasonable in these transactions. I would recommend them to anyone. more

I had a very enjoyable experience dealing with this company. Everyone was very nice and helpful and treated me more than fairly. Their prices are so good they are hard to believe. And everyone I dealt with was polite and friendly. I have been to other warehouse sales and these people are much more amenable to working with you to what you can afford. They also helped me get rid of an old mattress I didn't know what I was going to do with. Super service. I will be buying from them again, no doubt. more

Purchased a bed we liked for R625 placed R200 for deposit came to realize we didn't want it anymore called Peter and he tells us no refunds! But there's no refund policy stated on our reciept nor did we ever see a no refund or all sales finale signs ANYWHERE....! DO NOT GO THERE THEY'RE BOOSTERS, AND GETOVERS please be sure you go with your gut than the looks or hear what they have to say. All things aren't that good! Bought a FANTASTIC mattress & even though it was a bit of an odd experience at first, (I'm new to the wharehouse furniture thing), I picked out my mattress (which was over $300.00 cheaper than advertised elsewhere), brought it home, and that was that. THANK YOU!! more

It is true when I read the bad reviews about this place. I found these people from craigslist and we were trying to find a good mattress for a good price because we honestly don't have the money and my husband and my back hurts. We wanted to get a good bed. These people run their business in a warehouse and you have to make appointments in order to come look at what they have. They "say" they are helping a friend who gets mattresses and stuff from places that have extra, basically overstocks. Anyways, I had called the number posted on craigslist and made an appointment to go in to see. We ended up liking one of the mattresses and ordered it. It did come to our home but what is also odd is they don't even check their inventory to see if what you want is still available (fishy to me). They just didn't seem very professional either. Anyways, I had put a down payment that same day and when I got home I decided to research them (which i should have done before making that decision). I had read bad bad reviews about them and that they were scammers. I called the guy back and he said his name was abel, I told him i wanted to cancel the transaction because i dont have money to fall into a scam. He would not let me and my mother in law says that by law you get a 3 day money back return policy. So he told me I couldn't and I asked him "what about all the bad reviews i've read, can you explain the scam to me?" he told me that it was a customer who threatened to spam their page and business if they didn't give him the price he wanted. To ME and my husband that sounds so dumb, if i was upset they wouldn't get me the price i wanted, i would just leave, i wouldn't take the time to spam them. anyways so i ended up just paying for the whole mattress and we also got the mattress protector and when the mattress came, they forgot to give our protector, the mattress was NOT the same as on the show room and they didnt even bring the protector and when they did, it was a complete cheap one "ultra shield" JUST DONT BOTHER WITH THESE PPL more

I was a little nervous buying stuff from a warehouse. I needed to make an appointment. The sales process was carefully explained and I ended up with a top of the line Serta Perfect Sleeper. The price was less than half what I expected after shopping around. I had my new set in less than a week. It was a great experience. more

In the past year, we have bought two bed frames, a matress, and dining room table - we've experienced nothing less than great service and very good prices for quality furniture. Worst Mistake of my Life - I paid in cash to these guys and they made my life miserable. Absolutely worst experience ever !!! Once you have paid, these guys will not pick your phone. Don't expect you will get what you ordered. Don't expect delivery on time, replacement or warranty. This scam is run by three people - Husband, wife and another guy in warehouse. Wife posts ads on craisgslist and makes appointment, warehouse guy lures in and husband collects the amont and never gets back. They didn't delivere what I ordered for 2 months. They shamelessly refused to refund my money and told me "you are stuck..now you have only one option...wait." more

Good: I like their price and quality. I bought a TV stand and reclining sofa from here and then today i came back to buy a mattress. They are very good and they give very good deals. The delivery people are very friendly and help in moving/installing the item. Very good post sales service.. Bad: None.. Improvements: - Ability to schedule shipping at our convenient time.. Be very leery of negative reviews written on this blog. An angry unreasonable man threatened to spam the site if his unreasonable demands where not carried out. I was at the warehouse when he made his threats. I have been doing business with these guys for many years and have always been treated fair. The prices are great and the service is outstanding. more

My wife bought a mattress, tried to cancel by calling back, but the number was disconnected. When delivery truck arrived, we told them not to come in and to call us back about the refund. The owner, Peter called the next day and wouldn't give us a refund and threatened me with their "no refund" policy and that the credit company would not help us. Anyway, don't trust these guys - anyone who won't cancel a transaction the SAME DAY and give out disconnected phone numbers can't be trusted. more

Just bought a queen pillow top mattress set for half the price advertised at Costco. The place is out of the way, but well worth the drive. Also included in the deal was a mattress protector. The same model sells for over $100 in local stores. I'm happy. Khalid more
