Wood Ranch Bar-B-Que

I travel a lot for work all across the US and there are so many places, notably in the South, that claim to have the best BBQ. Truth is nothing compares to Wood Ranch BBQ. Their sauce and meat prep is hands down the best. more

We are out of towners and were traveling along the 101, back to our hotel when I saw the light cloud of smoke coming from the Wood Ranch BBQ and drifting across the freeway. As we passed through it, one good inhalation of the great smoke and I took the next exit to find our way back. Great smoked ribs and chicken. They brew a pretty good beer too. We spent 7 days in California and tonight's meal was the best. more

Awesome Bar-B-Que, simply amazing bar-b-qued food. And, while having no relation to the grill, their bread rolls are worth the trip alone. Be careful, you may not be able to stop. Then, if you can, move onto the main course. Definately for lunch try the bar-b-qued beef sandwich. Also, their tri-tip and bar-b-qued chicken salads are also, simply amazing. The many different main dishes often come with two sides with is more than enough. Also, the restaurant itself is welcoming and comfortable. Prices are fair, portions are generous. Also, a delicious tip - dip the seasoned bread rolls in their amazing bar-b-que sauce. Also, use a little of this sauce as a salad dressing. Especially with the the chicken salad, the bar-b-que sauce makes an awesome compliment to the ranch dressing and a delicious meal. Wood Ranch Bar-B-Que is near the Agoura Canyon Club; it would make a great night of music and food. But if just in the area, visit Wood Ranch for a delicious meal. more

I have to agree that this place has incredible BBQ and their ribs and Tri Tip are unbelievably good. Its a great place to take a date and a great place to just get some great food! You will smell the goodness coming out of the restaurant when you drive by and you will immediately want to stop in and get some good food. more

This place has the best ribs you will ever taste in your life. The meat falls off the bone, it's so tender and the sauce they use is so incredible, you want to drink it straight from the bottle. The atmosphere is great, very dark and cozy and the booths are HUGE. The service was pretty good for a place so crowded...fast and friendly enough to keep the kids from getting antsy. Try their tri-tip salad, it's wonderful and very filling. more
