I would not take my dog to Witham if I wanted it to live. I'm not sure which is worse, their arrogance or their incompentance. I've witnessed first hand the poor medical services...

Witham is great - disregard bruce d. 8/5/2010

I will take exception to Bruce D. as I am a past employee of Witham Memorial and will match its services, personnel, and technology with any hosptial. As far as the CEO goes he is one of the best - my current employers CEO make his annual appearance in the hospital once per year at the Christmas Dinner for employees. What you have in Witham is very good hosptial under good leadership and Lebanon should be proud of what Witham offers. Disregard Bruce D.'s comments - he really doesn't know what he is talking about! more

GREAT HOSPITAL, GREAT PEOPLE 5/23/2010

I think the new facility is great!!! I had my last two daughters in the Labor and Delivery Unit and absolutely loved it. My nurses were wonderful, making sure that I was comfortable, checking on me quite often and would even stay past her shift just because she started as my nurse when I came in. She didn't leave until my daughter was born that would be my 4 yr old. The same thing was true with my now 3 yr old as well. I also had my gallbladder taken out a couple of years ago and the staff was exceptional and eased my fears of the whole thing. Afterwards, in recovery, they made sure that I was comfortable and alert and could do things and stay awake on my own before releasing me. \r \r I think sometimes the reason that people don't like the hospital or their nurses or their doctors is because they think that they are mean to them. Well, I know how people are working with the public and let me tell you if you are rude to someone, they are going to be rude back. Its human nature. more

Witham Memorial Hospital is lousy 1/3/2010

the CEO is horrible and the doctors are worse. I would not take anyone there. It is only there to get patients for bigger hosptials in Indianapolis. more

Nurse Issues 4/13/2009

I had my baby at Witham Memorial Hospital, and I will never go back. The nurses are mean during delivery and rude while in after-care. It got so bad that the managing nurse actually became touchy, and then she slammed the door to our room with my baby still in the room!!! I don't recommend this hospital to anyone! more

Depends on your Nurse! 5/8/2007

My husband had emergency surgery there and was in for three days! They didn't even feed him until the third day, and the receptionist didn't even have him on record on being there, so they were telling family members that he wasn't there. But I do have to say that when and if you do get fed, my husabnd loved the Biscuits and Gravy there! With better comunication it would be a pretty good hospital. more
