Winston Eye Associates OD PA

Negative experience today, positive 10 years ago. Patient is rapidly led from room to room without discussion of tests given and ABSOLUTELY no feedback. Results were never discussed. Discussion of and request for prescription when unheeded and I left empty handed. I was told it would be mailed to me. Office manager is aggressive, talking over patient non-stop. It felt like a factory. I have to wonder if this business, like those adjacent to it, are suffering an economic downturn and desperate to herd as many patients as possible through, in the shortest time. If you are busy, have no eye problems, want express service without the feeling of thoroughness, this is the place for you. more

I used this place once and did not have a positive experience with my purchase. I liked the doctor there, however and their office is nice and comfortable. Found out there was no change in my prescription from my last visit to eye doctor. Seemed pretty simple to me, but apparently not. I brought new glasses and sunglass frames. When they had my glasses finished, they had put the wrong prescription in both glasses and the sunglasses were a different color on each lens and was not even. They apologized, said they would correct the problems but when I returned, things were worse, prescriptions were not fixed, new frames on glasses were now bent, sunglasses were darker than before and still uneven. After 3 visits, they still could not get them corrected. I had to pay a huge price and they only took $50.00 off for their mistake. I gave up after 3 tries and went to Lenscrafters (my first visit there). They took the frames, fixed them, put in the correct prescriptions and corrected the uneve more

There are a few doctors at Winston Eye Associates, and though I have only had Dr. Weaver as my doctor, I would recommend, just from experiences with her and the staff, that you give them a try for your eye care needs. Dr. Weaver is very nice, always willing to answer questions or concerns, and I would not want any other doctor for my eye care. The services provided for care of eye wear is great too, from adjustments to new lenses. If you are in search of a new office for your eye care, Winston Eye Associates is definitely worth checking into. more
