Wings

I have liked going to this place on Sundays for Bingo with friends, but even after 8pm, sometimes 9 or 10 pm, there are parents with children on the bar side of the restaurant. These kids are playing the bingo game where liquor and beer are given as prizes. Last night I happily made my opinion known to one family who was neglecting their toddler and had their other 2 children in a smoky bar where people were drinking, cussing, and doing what people typically do in a bar. I realize it's a restaurant and bar, but after a certain hour, it becomes a bar mainly, and underage patrons should not be let in. Especially when their parents are letting the 2 yr old wander into a totally separate dining room and not watching her at all. They said they know the owner, I hope they do tell the owner that we made our opinion known. I am not in the mood to deal with crying toddlers and parents with a total inability to watch their youngest, while I intended to go to a bar and have the company of other adults. If you go to a bar on a school night, get a BABYSITTER. It's not rocket science. Pros: Good food Cons: Too expensive, slow service, kids in bar area ALWAYS more

Normally go to TJ Wings two to three times per month but after yesterday will never go back. We placed on order for wings three days prior to Super Bowl telling them we would pick at up 4:30. I had even go into the restrauant to order and offered to pay when placing the order. They told me to pay when I picked up $100 worth of wings. Well, I went in yesterday at 4:30 PM and was rudely told I must still wait. I had to wait an addtional 45 minutes for my order. Treated to like crap because I wanted them to check on order at 5:00 PM. Amazingly, I told them to check and if it wasn't ready I needed to cancel. Surprise, my order was came right out the door. This just didn't happen to me. If you had an order and threatened to cancel the order was the next one to come out the door. For the rude service, high prices, next time I will go to Pizza Hut for my Super Bowl wings. Pros: None Cons: Everything more

My family has gone to TJ Wings a number times and have never been disaapointed, even on Valentine's day. We have had a number of the menu items and specials on V-Day and it has all been great. It is now our neighborhood favorite. Game Room to keep the kids occupied and sports on TV for the adults and children. The service leaves a little to be desired, but the food makes up for it. They were very rude to a group of people that spent close to a 4 didget number for food and drinks. This was a group of people over and above their normal friday customers. This establishment will not be recommended to anyone in that groups company. In fact many people from that company used to go there for lunch. Never again. more

I was horribly disappointed after my visit to TJ Wings. I was there with a very large group of people on a Friday at around 3:00 p.m. We had notified them that we would be there and that we would have around 40-50 people in our group and was assured that that would not be a problem, but that they don't reserve seating. We got there early enough to secure enough seats for our group and were reprimanded three different times that we were taking up too much space. During this time there were only three other patrons in the establishment. Later into the night after they made us squeeze into a smaller table, there was not room for everyone in our party to sit so they had to stand. We were then told that standing wasn't allowed. The wings here are actually pretty good, but the poor customer service takes away from that. I will not go back and we will take our large group outings to a place that will appreciate our business. Never have I been treated more poorly than at TJ Wings on a Friday night with a large group of people. If you're not one of their regulars, you're not welcome, and they show it. We tried to sit on the patio for a retirement party, and were hassled from the outset. I will never go back. Wings are ok, but totally not worth the treatment. Do yourself a favor and stay away. Great outdoor/indoor seating and the Wings and Pizza are grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!!!! Plenty of big screen TV's inside and outside great place to watch the game!!! Also for those who have kids they have a nice arcade game room in back.. Great Bar/restaurant for all ages... more
