i have been to all the top salons in greenville but they didnt compare to wilsons. the front desk girls where really helpful and so nice. i saw erica she really listened to me and gave me some thing fresh and youthful. i love it, i will be back to her! more

Great Salon 2/14/2009

I have gone here twice and always got a great haircut. Last time I went, it was to see Megan. She does edgy dry razor cuts. My car was so light for the first time in ages and my bangs looked amazing. The best thing was that I could soooo easily recreate the style at home. I hear Brian, here is amazing as well, but I think he's a bit more pricey. He's sorta a legend in Greenville. Most girls I see with amazing haircuts go to him more

What are you people doing on here? Why trash the best in this town? i have been in this area for almost 4 years and had dozens of horrible hair cuts. I am from N.Y.C and think todd is the type of stylist that fits a city mold. He is also GREAT ay what he does. Also, he has never mad a play on me or my friends that I have seen him. So, please stop the lies. If you dont like him, find another hairstylist so he can have more time for the ones the love him. Thank you! i made appiontment with todd burns he personaly concelled them and come to find out it was because he and i had a few dates and he was/is sleeping with another one of the stylist and i can only assume he was uncomfortable with the two of us there. i can'trust an ugly person to make me feel beatuful!!! Best Stylist in Greenville 1/5/2009

I highly recommend Holly Knight at Wilson's when you need your color done right! She has such a great eye and artistic flare. My color has never looked better!!! She was personable, professional and very, very talented!!! As long as I live in Greenville, I will not let anyone else do my hair! Pros: artistic, great eye for color Cons: None more

Brian ~ best stylist I've ever had! 12/15/2008

I have been going to see Brian at Wilson's for several years. He has been amazing. Every cut I get from him is unique, and he really puts a lot of thought into it before he starts. I cannot speak highly enough of him as a person, and a stylist. He even tells you to call him if you get home and can't style the new cut, or end up unhappy. Customer service is fabulous, and he really cares about his clients. Pros: I always leave with a fabulous haircut, feeling great! Cons: None. more

BUTCHERED BANGS!!!!!!! 10/22/2008

I had heard good things about Wilson's and was super excited to get my haircut there. I was nervous sitting, waiting 10minutes past my appointment time but figured this haircut would be worth the wait. I was satisfied when while washing my hair a woman came up to thank my stylist for fixing her color. I wanted a simple trim and side swept bangs. Easy right? Apparently NOT. Terry, my stylist, acted like he knew what I wanted but I ended up looking like my sister when she was 6 and decided to cut her own hair!! The trim was fine, but the bangs!!! I can't look in the mirror without getting upset. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! Cons: horrible haircut, especially since I payed $53 to look like a 12 yr old more

Life saver 10/17/2008

This is the 1st and only thing I have ever rated on city search, so that shows how strongly I feel about Wilson's on Washington. I had my hair cut and colored by a stylist with 20 years experience, the color went well and I thought the cut went well until I got home to fix it myself and realized the layers were completely uneven. A friend of mine recommended Anna at Wilson's, I called, she worked me in and needless to say she is my new hairdresser. She was understanding about my situation, never bad mouthed the other dresser while admitting the hair cut was a disaster. Very talented, professional and just everything you would want in a hair dresser. I highly recommend her to anyone that needs hair help. Best Haircut Around 10/13/2008

I discovered Holly Knight at Wilson's a little over a year ago and now I will not let anyone else touch my hair. She always cuts it exactly the way I want it, and never tries anything just to "see" what it will look like. I finally let her do my color today (I was very nervous about changing it but really wanted to do it!!) and I can not be any happier with my results. She knew exactly what I needed and told me what she will do next time so that it stays looking perfect. If you are looking for someone new (or even if you aren't) do take the time to give Holly a try, you will not be disappointed!!! Thank you Holly!!! Todd is Creepy 10/2/2008

After careful consideration and reading reviews I decided to try Todd Burns out. I heard lots of great things about him and his skills. WHAT HAPPENED? He hitt on me the entire time and making very upseine comments, making me feel uncomfortable! It seemed as if he was there to pick up women then to cut hair. The cut I felt like was an average mall haircut, worth about $10! I feel I way overpayed for my haircut! When I got home I had to cut one side of my hair to make it the same length as the other side! I don't know about his past or if he was ever good but I know that NOW he is a waste of money. I'd rather go to the mall then overpaying for some 40year oldish creepy guy hitting on me. I have been a loyal follower of Merri Tabares for almost 10 years. I will continue to follow her where ever her path might take her. She is by far one of the best in the industry! Merri is the kind of person who knows what haircut and/or color will accentuate the client. Every visit with Merri is like sitting down to talk to a friend for an hour. She and I rarely discuss what haircut I get...She just knows. I can honestly say that I have never left her chair unhappy. WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN!!!! 9/1/2008

I saw MR.WILSON ans just wanted to have a light shape and trim the ends. I left with over 3in's cut and my hair was uneven and chopped up!! I cried for an hour. A coworker call her stylist and l Went after work to Kara Spa Michalina evened me out and i will not ever go to anyone else!!! She did an awesome job!!! If you need Hair Help call her she's great!!!! Holly Knight is the best and so is Wilson on Washington 8/30/2008

For fifteen years, I went to several salons trying to find someone who could cut my hair just the way I wanted it- but never once did I like my hair cut until Holly Knight. She is the only woman to cut my hair PERFECTLY and never mess up. There is no way to describe how great of a stylist she is- just go to her and you'll see! I have had endless compliments on how great my hair looks now. She always gives her opinion and tells you what will look best and she matches your hair cut to your face/personality. I have been going to Holly for four years and I now go to college at USC and still drive all the way back up here just to get my hair cut, I will not let anyone else touch my hair besides Holly Knight :) more

I take my daughter to see Todd Burns at Wilsons on Washington. He is the best in Greenville, SC. Where ever Todd is that is where I am going. He is professional and knows his business very well. Anyone who hasn't seen him I would recommend him. Pros: Todd Burns is now there. Cons: Not sure more

Best Stylist in Greenville 6/18/2008

Holly Knight is the best stylist I have ever had. She knows what will look best on me and really makes me feel at ease about it. I am constantly getting compliments on my hair and have people asking me where I go. I have tried local people closer to my home but always end up back at Wilsons. Holly is a magician! If you are looking for change you should give Wilsons a try. more

Beauty in , beast out! 5/26/2008

My wife went here and had her hair cut by Wilson! She went in with beautiful hair and came out with a mullet! She cried for days until I took her to Atlanta to have her hair fixed. Now we skip straight to Carter Barnes and avoid the crying! The Salon looks beautiful, I will give it that! Valerie, the girl that cut my hair was great; she did a really good job and was super friendly. She was really sincere with all of her advice--I have been to other salons where stylists talk about products and recommend you things, but always come across as pushy...like if they were going to make a commission or something. Valerie was not like that at all!! The salon itself is beautiful, very clean and modern. Wilson?s is definitely been the best hair salon I?ve ever been to. Everyone I saw there seems very professional and up-to-date with style. I'm definitely going back! Pros: Ambience, Service, Location Cons: No cons that I can think of. more

I've been going here for 2 years and have the best hairstylist. She's been there for several years and does a great job at cutting hair. Everyone else that I meet there seems nice and the place is very clean. I would definitely recommend Wilson's and ask for Shannon. more

the stylist made me feel uncomfortable 6/29/2005

the guy that cut my hair was too interested in hitting on me than doing my hair i began to feel awkward and out of place the haircut itself was acceptable i just dont think i'll go back because of how unprofessional my stylist behaved more
