So here was my 10 month stay: I'm military, here only for a school and leaving Ft Leavenworth immediately after. That said, my over 20years of military service and the LONG list of apartments that has accompanied informs this review. \r

First - move in day. Of course, friendly staff because its honeymoon and this business relationship is new. Then I go into the apartment - FILTHY - I mean every room floors (carpet, kitchen floor caked with dirty and sticky grime (I wish I could just post the pics still on my phone), URINE in the toilet and splashed all ghetto fab around the bowl rim...THICK smell of smoke in this ""no smoking"" apartment that took months to dissipate. Not even the dryer lint catch in the dryer was cleaned out...Refrigerator was dirty, as was the stove and showers. So this, coupled with my detailed pictures and move-in inspection sheet that I had to write near front and back with discrepancies got my cleaning fees/carpet cleaning requirement waived on my move-out day. GO TEAM! \r

During my time there, door notes left with condescending tone and ""anti-children playing"" comments that scream NO FAMILY at you. Maintenance was responsive (only took twice to fix a single complaint) when I had them come replace the weather stripping around the balcony door because I could see much day light, as well as the standing water that had collected under a bathroom sink vanity for at least the previous year before given the amount of mildew and rotting wood I had. \r

Management. Really, pay your rent, leave, fairly inconsequential. They serve their purpose in that they take your money - paper check - old school (I had to scrounge to find a checkbook). Not really active when boxes where shipped to empty apartments - I watched one sit on a stoop for two months & still there when I moved out.\r

Come move out - no worries. They prorated for me (some places - that's a challenge). I got the usual ""we take care of the military folks"". Whatever, its just a good business practice that takes care of people. \r

Utilities and services were horrible. In fact, I got such sketch service while trying to turn on the gas for the heater when it started getting cold, that I flat out said forget it - I'd rather freeze all winter than give that local gas company a dime...So I didn't use gas heat and all was good. I saved SO MUCH $$ ! Electric Company, called them twice to turn off during my last month - once to schedule, once right as I was leaving to confirm. Even PAID AHEAD so that last little bit would be covered and I'd owe nothing. 45 days later, here I am finding out that that company didn't turn off the power, I'm now owing another $100+ bucks, and oh yeah, the apartment complex isn't trying to ensure they are covering anything when a tenant leaves, so while the apartment is still empty as of this writing, the apartment complex isn't paying electricity that is evidently running hard and strong since I've left. Management's response, ""The apartment isn't responsible for your bills"" followed by actually hanging up the phone. The money is easy for me, the foul taste comes from paying for the apartment complex's use of the electricity that I am responsible...45 days after I have moved out, and they were never going to say anything. \r

Gym and Pool. Pool average tiny apartment pool. Gym, more of a hotel gym and very small. Everyone seemed to just use the local gyms nearby.\r

I do not recommend to anyone. Plenty other nearby competition out there.
