***CAUTION*** I highly encourage anyone considering using Dr. Medved's office for the purpose of acquiring dentures to seek another practice. There is no other way to explain the services provided than to say that they are vastly inadequate and unwilling to perform the services they claim to provide. Let's "see" if this gets printed! I don't KNOW this dentist nor will I ever recommend this dentist to anyone due to the way in which the "receptionist" dealt with my brother when he called in with emergency circumstances this morning, AFTER locating Dr Medved on the world wide web as a Lancaster [OH] EMERGENCY dentist, listed at the TOP of the "list" due to a "5 Star Rating" !! What a crock!\r \r Dr Medved needs to know HOW his receptionist deals with Public! Once she heard my brother explain (as best he could with a swollen face and in dire pain) that he had to go to the local hospital ER for pain medication and that they put him on an antibiotic with the recommendation that he get to a dentist ASAP, she very RUDELY, shut him down and stated, "We are not accepting new patients!" He had dental work (filling) done in SC which apparently, was not done properly. THEN, Dr Medved's "receptionist" had the nerve to ask him what insurance he had!!!\r \r Well, "Ms. Receptionist" - YOU need to more

I have had no major problems. The office staff has been very friendly. If I call in because I have a tooth ache they would get with Dr Medved and call in what I need to fix my troubles to ease my pain and make me an appointment within a week. I have to admit the first appointment took a while to get. My two older children went and had no complaints. They were happy as could be. I ask as many questions as I like and he will answer them. Just don't be shy. I would say he is one of the better dentist I have had. I honestly do NOT like the dentist. more

Today was my first visit. After reading some of these comments, I was somewhat skeptical even though I read all the comments of the one individual and thought she was just negative by nature (for the love of Mike, she gave Goodwill a bad review, too!). I was pleasantly surprised with the staff at Dr. Medved's office. Everyone was friendly and seemed to be really helpfulf and considerate of all patients. Dr. Medved was upbeat and told me the blunt truth about my situation. Recd a follow up appointment and estimate of cost and was REALLY surprised. A lot better than I had anticipated. And by the way......there are no women dentists on staff. more

I had work done here this woman kept wanting to do more and more root canals (some of the teeth needed pulled). She broke a tooth off and did a horrible job trying to repair it. She did root canals and the one tooth broke within days of the visit. I had a horrible toothache she told me to take some tylenol. I had to go to Dr. Stern who said the tooth was abcessed I needed Antibotics and stronger pain Med's. I think she doesn't know what she is doing and has no concern for her patients just her pocketbook. Dental assistants do most of the work, I think it is because she doesn't know how to do it herself. more

Dr. Medved is a friendly enough doctor, however if you get the other doctor in there not so. Four trips to have a root canal fixed only to have to finally have tooth pulled. No problems prior to her putting in the filling. PROS: He is good CONS: Office staff can be rude more

Dr Medved is a very friendly dentist. I recently had to get a lot of dental work done and he was very concerned about my concerns and put my mind at ease prior to any work he did. His cost is average compared to other dentists in town and the assistants and hygenists at the office are very very nice people. His office is well lit and clean. I would have no qualms about recommending him as a dentist. PROS: Friendliest Dentist in town! CONS: Appointments booked months in advance, hard to get in when needed more
