Great Place, Hard Working Staff, Jake and Travis Great Job! 5/15/2009

I hired Willamette Valley Moving company to move from an apartment to a house and they were exceptional! Not only were both movers, Jake and Travis, extreemly pleasant to be around, they both worked extreemly hard, and non stop to get my things moved. Nothing was damaged, the move was extreemly quick, and the cost was at a very reasonable price. I want to say great job to the two gentlemen who moved me Jake and Travis from Willamette Valley Moving. Keep up the great work guys! Pros: Hardest Working Pair I Have Ever Seen! more

Excellent moving experience with Willamette Valley Moving 1/21/2009

These guys were great. Admittedly we had a very straightforward move in-town without any particularly fragile or heavy belongings, but they still exceeded my expectations. Brian and Michael were on-time, friendly and professional, and were extremely efficient with their time (important when you're paying for work by the hour). Moving really CAN be easy and stress-free! 11/7/2008

Willamette Valley Movers have everything! Experienced, friendly and CAREFUL movers, great price, and swift and on-time service. James and Charles moved all my furniture from my old place to my new home when I got married and they were wonderul! I have moved over 12 times in the past 10 years and this was hands down the best experience I have ever had. I hope you will use them if you need a moving company! Pros: Everything Cons: Nothing more

Willamette Movers gave me an accurate quote, showed up early on my move date, and completed the job ahead of schedule. In advance of the move, they delivered boxes to me the day I called. The guys were careful with my belongings, handled the move expertly and were friendly and courteous. Thanks for keeping me on schedule on move day! more

willamette valley moving is the best......ryan and dustin showed up 15 minutes early......they were polite, fast (they finished well below estimated time) and nothing was broken......it was amazing to watch.....they never left the truck empty handed.....and when they were going back to the truck, they were walking fast or running......and when they were in the house they were extra careful not to ding any walls or scratch floors......if you are looking for the best movers in portland....wilamette valley movers are the best..... Pros: everything Cons: none more

Great Service 10/13/2008

Great service. They sent Mike and Charlie to move our two bedroom apartment and i could not have been happier with the service. We lived on the third floor and were moving to a second floor apartment, so I thought it would take a lot longer than they had predicted. The guys worked without a break and at an amazing quick pace and had the job done on time. Highly recommended. more

great moving company! 10/8/2008

This was my first time using a moving service and Willamette did not disappoint. They were able to fit me in on a busy weekend (we were moving during Labor day weekend). The moving guys even showed up early and completed the work is less time than we were quoted. The guys hustled and didn't sit around to wait for instructions. They communicated well with each other and made sure not to make any scratches or dents to our home. The only issue I had was that when I called initially, I wasn't told that I would be charged should they need to wrap the furniture with plastic. It wasn't a huge expense, so I didn't mind, but it would've been nice to know beforehand. Also, the travel time is based from their last job, which was in Vancouver. My home was in Beaverton, so that included a 45 minute travel time. Again not a big deal, but it would've been nice to know beforehand. Even so, I would highly recommend them. Pros: did their work quickly Cons: didn't mention the additional cost of wrapping furniture. more

Excellent Moving Company 10/7/2008

Just got moved yesterday by Dustin and Earl. Wow - excellent service and very nice guys! I would highly recommend these guys to anyone. What you hear is true....red carpet and everything. It took the guys 3 hours to move all of our stuff and get it into the new place with 3 flights of stairs. They were professional, courteous and very pleasant. The last company we used was good too but the guys did not work as hard or as fast as these two did (took the other guys longer and there was less drive time). I gave these guys a pretty good tip because they worked hard to make my day easier!.......worth every penny! Pros: Speed, pleasantness more

Great Experience 9/23/2008

I had never hired movers before, but I was tired of moving myself....so I contacted Willamette Valley Moving to assist with my move on 09/19/2008. They were fabulous! Their staff was friendly and helpful while booking my appointment, taking all my needs into consideration. The day of my move, the movers arrived 15 minutes early, and immediately got to work. They were very careful not to damage the house or my personal belongings. They took plenty of time to prep all my furniture to ensure it would transfer safely; which excited me because most of my furniture was new. They worked very effeciently and in a timely matter. At the end of the long day, all my stuff arrived safely, they assembled everything they had taken apart, and the house was in great shape. Thanks Charles and Jake! I will definetely use this company again, it was a great experience considering that moving is an unpleasant process anyways. more

Another great move after using them 8 times over the last 5 years 8/15/2008

I've used Willamette Valley Moving now over the last 5 years and they've moved me 8 times. Each time I've used them they have been on time and my furniture has never been damaged, as well as my house. The last time I used them was 8/13/08 and Pat and Lance did such a great job. It is no wonder why they have employees that have been there for a number of years. Pros: On time and great customer service Cons: None more

Incredible! 8/5/2008

These guys are amazing. I booked them based on the responses here and I wasn't disappointed at all. My movers were Charlie, Jake, and Corey. They were quick and conscientious. It took them 5 hours (including travel time) to move a 4 bedroom house with a basement 25 miles. In the end they were practically sprinting into the house with full loads of boxes. To top it off when it turned out that we didn't need the second truck we ordered they sent it back and GAVE ME A DISCOUNT FOR THE WHOLE MOVE. Who else would do that? I cannot recommend these guys highly enough!!! Pros: Quick, honest, and reliable Cons: None! more

Best movers ever! 8/4/2008

These guys are amazing. My fiance and I hired them to move into our new house. They moved both of us out of our apartments and both apartments' worth of stuff into a two-story house in 4 hours, including travel time. They RAN upstairs carrying multiple heavy book boxes at a time. Moving is skilled labor, and these guys have the skills. Pros: Professionalism, expertise, efficiency Cons: none more

Hard working crew 7/29/2008

We hired Willamette Valley to move from a small condo and a huge storage garage into a new home that had just finished construction. The guys showed up on time and never stopped working - despite the heat. They took great care with all of our belongings and were courteous throughout the entire day.\r \r At the end of the day, they pointed out a small scratch that was made on our floor. It was SMALL - we would have never noticed it on our own. Of course, it wasn't a big deal to us. But that kind of honesty is what led me to write this review. You won't find the kind of service that Willamette Valley offers anywhere else. We were more than impressed and will use them again for any future moving needs. more
