I couldn't disagree more with the previous post by MarcyO. \r \r I started my search for an architect by looking through Ron's portfolio and visiting some of the houses he's designed, and found him to be extremely talented and experienced, yet still fresh and creative. In working with him, I found that he spends hours on the lot before even beginning a design, and far more time getting to understand the needs of his clients. The end product turns out splendidly, partially due to his perfection and beautiful designs, and partially because he goes above and beyond the call of duty, including his frequent visits to the construction site.\r \r If you're looking for an architect in the triangle area, I couldn't recommend Ron highly enough! more

You know when you look through magazines of house plans, and you see more creativity than in a custom architect designed home, it is not a good thing. With Wilde you get dormers, pillars, over-sized rooms to add to his % of construction costs. I know of 3 families that started with Ron, and finished with another, more skilled architect. Another has constant construction issues to deal with.ever since they moved in. Wilde was the construction supervisor. Recomend you look elsewhere for a high quality, beautiful home that you will want to invest and live in. Pros: available (for a reason) Cons: everything else more
