The cab company of this company actually told me to f*** off after hanging up the number twice on me and claiming that he had apologized. I am following up with the company to make sure that he is fire. I am that pissed off. Who tells a paying customer to "f***off?" Will never use them again. more

Yes they own their cab however, the sponsor is the cab company & the City of Alexandria issues their hack license. There are rules set for all drivers; city code. The hack office is a division of the Alexandria Police Department which has a strong enforcement of the city code. Excellent team!\r \r Drivers use techniques like speeding off & not giving their name when a customer asks for it. The best thing to do is to ask to see their "hack license". Showing their license is a must when asked! Also it is best to look at the cab number before entering it. more

Cab ran into my daughter's parked car in a parking lot. Driver so drunk, he couldn't provide insurance, arrested on the spot. So, unsatisfactory, yeah, kinda. We'll see where the insurance issue leads, but YOU COULDN'T PAY ME TO RIDE WITH THESE FOLKS. more

For the second time recently, got the same driver at the airport and asked to go from the airport to my office. Both times, despite having luggage, the driver tries to drop me off on the other side of the street, with a park inbetween, 6 lanes of traffic. Each time I asked him to take me to the building, he gets difficult, complaining how it must be hard for me to walk to the building. Guy clearly does not like doing his job, and should not be doing it. more

These cab drivers are very rude. This is my second time using this cab service from the Dunn Lorring Metro. I asked the driver to take me less than 2 miles down the road, and he's asking, "You don't know where that's at? U just walk right down..." *blank stare* ... then when he finally takes me to my destination, he got mad at me for not having change... that I was taking all of his change... Middle eastern driver with an attitude... he sped off so fast after dropping me off, I didn't get a chance to note his car number... I wouldn't recommend this cab service to anyone. more

I would like to forget the humiliating experience that I had when I took White Top Cab from Dunn Loring Metro Station to Sterling, VA.\r The guy was a middle eastern(Abdul?something) . He never got down from his cab to assist me in putting my luggage in the cab, despite of telling him that its hot inside the car (stinking too, which I didn?t tell him) he did not switch on the AC rather rolled down the windows and worst of all started when I reached my destination, he handed over the receipt and I gave my Credit card (normal right???) he said he does not take credit card, so I showed him the receipt which listed all the credit cards that this cab takes\r He started screaming and said, he doesn?t care for that he only needs cash ?and it was 10PM in the night and the nearest ATM was 2 miles away ?\r The neighbors came out to watch what?s happening ?and I was begging him to accept atleast the Bank Check ?he persisted and refused to accept anything but Cash?he didn?t let me more

I am not sure about the Alexandria White Top Cab but I wouldn't recommend the Fairfax White Top Cab. The driver was very impatient in waiting for other cars to yield (e.g. honked to the car in front of him when there were cars passing by). Then he was brave enough to stop his car in front of that other car on a signal light and did not budge even when the light turned green. more

Called the evening prior for a 4:45am pickup for an early flight and the cab did not show. When I called the main # at 4:50am, there was no answer. Had to wake up my wife and two kids to drop me off at the airport. Then, on my return the next day, who did I draw in the taxi line--White Top. Ride home was fine, but when I pulled out my credit card, they said they did not accept credit cards. Fairly useless cab company, in my opinion. more

Made appointment for taxi to pick up my parents at 6:15am on Monday, October 15th, 2007 from Fairfax going to National Airport to catch a flight. When no taxi showed up by 6:20am, I called and was told that yes, the taxi was on his way and would be there in 5 minutes. When 6:30am arrived with still no taxi, I finally drove my parents to the airport myself so they didn't miss their flight. My wife told me that at 7:00am the taxi driver finally called and asked for directions to our house. What a bunch of bozos. Will never use them again. more

I?ve always been pleased with the drivers of White Top Cab. When calling ahead they usually arrive in a matter of seconds or it takes them forever. It seems like there is no middle ground. Overall I?ve been pleased with their service but the log waits sometimes are frustrating. If you live in Northern Virginia they are a solid option. more

This cab company showed up in a matter of minutes and then drove me safely to my destination. The cab was quite clean compared to others that I have been in and the driver was extremely polite. I would definitely use their service again. more
