First, their rates were competitive. I've used another place three times over the last 15 years (2 deers and 1 tree) and they were great--but too far north. So, based on the revie...

I can believe Insurances Companies pay that much money on repairs to shops like this one, for sure that's another reason we pay a lot of money on Insurance... Just because is clos...

Your Lakeway shop manager, Alex Mendez, should be commended. He is an outstanding example of courtesy and accomodation. Alex went out of his way to assist me with my repair needs recently. The car was repaired expertly and on time, but it was his willingness to go out of his way to help me that prompted me to write this. Thank goodness there are still employees who prize craftmanship and customer relations above profit. more

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff for the high quality of workmenship and professionalism I experienced when I had my wife's Lexus in for work recently. As you know I had been looking for a quality shop to do the work. While the dealership had recommended other establishments, they were on the other side of town, and a good 35-45 minutes or ore away depending on traffic. more

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff for the high quality of workmenship and professionalism I experienced when I had my wife's Lexus in for work recently. As you know I had been looking for a quality shop to do the work. While the dealership had recommended other establishments, they were on the other side of town, and a good 35-45 minutes or ore away depending on traffic. The quality of work was excellent. the technique used on the head light covers, the paint match, and the finish could not be seen from the original finish. The job was finished ahead of schedule, and the cost was well within the estimate. more

I wanted to write and inform everyone of what a great experience I had with working with Alex Mendez and Cindy. I was rear ended and the other party's insurance company was incredibly difficult to deal with . They were slow to pay and wanted your company to put inferior parts on our car. Alex went to bat for me on several occasions and kept me abreast on any calls he had with the insurance company and adjuster. If not for Alex's patience and diligence, the whole process would have been a much more difficult process. more

EXPENSIVE, NOT WORTH 7/18/2008

I can believe Insurances Companies pay that much money on repairs to shops like this one, for sure that's another reason we pay a lot of money on Insurance... Just because is close to my house I went to this body shop at Lakeway to get an estimate to repair my little neon needing just to paint my hood and bumper and fix two or three smalls details, but ""Surprise"" the estimate was THIRTEEN HUNDRED DOLLARS... just for putting a little bondo and paint hood and bumper and some polish can be that much. How can people talk good things about these place? Do they really know the prices for repairs. I feel so Stupid just for going to ask for an estimate. The Good... I won't spend my money with Whitakers Body Shop. more

SUPERB WORK AND SERVICE IN LAKEWAY 12/3/2007

These folks are great. They did a great job on my repair, suggested a less expensive alternative (i was paying myself, not with insurance), were on time (less than 24 hours), and friendly! and, when my ride had a problem with his dOor, they fixed it for free while he waited for me. what's not to love???? i highly recommend them, and I am so glad to have someone in the Lakeway area who does such great work. more

My experience with Whitaker's Auto Body and Paint was most unusual---a company who did what they said, when they said, how they said, with integrity and quality. And on top of that I dropped in the shop, without calling for an appointment and was treated very cordially and professionally. So unusual in the businees world these days to experience this level of quality service in a warm yet professional atmosphere. I began exploring what it must be about this company. What I found out was that the business is family owned.
