Wheatfields bakery offers you the opportunity to place an advance order if you have a certain taste or bread flavor you want from among the various kinds of freshly baked breads offered by the bakery. If you are just in the neighborhood and want some great tasting bread, you can also stop in and pick up freshly baked bread or pastries that are available in the store. Among the most robust flavors is the sourdough, which like many other bread loaves is reasonably priced. If you are unsure of what kind of bread you need for your event, ask they staff at the bakery and they can suggest something that may be just what you are looking for. more

Nationally renowned bakery 9/25/2005

Wheatfields is a local bakery that has gained national recognition (on television) for its delicious bread and sandwiches. It is small and you may have to wait, especially on Sundays after church, but the food is totally worth it. My favorite is the 3-cheese grilled cheese with mozzerella, provolone, and swiss. It has 3 slices of bread with cheese in between. The Miss Vickie's potato chips are also delicious. There is a variety of juice drinks as well as soda, a soup of the day, and other food. Definitely worth a visit! more
