Dr. Westerband is exceptionally competent and caring. She and her office staff are very efficient and thorough. I always write down my questions before a doctor?s appointment, and Dr. Westerband answers questions clearly and professionally. Before retirement, I worked for physicians for many years so I understand many of the issues facing a physician?s office. Dr. Westerband and her office staff are all very warm and welcoming in spite of all the stresses that I know they must deal with. I would recommend Dr. Westerband to any woman, young or mature! more

I have been seing Dr Westerband since we moved from California 6 years ago, and Dr Catherine as always been responsive to any of my health problems.\r She listens to my concerns with a lot of attention and always has the appropriate answer or treatment regarding my condition (I have a lupus, a very serious immune system disease), that got more difficult with the start of menopause.\r Dr Westerband is now seeing my daughter, 19 years old, and I'm very happy that she has been advising her on many topics a young woman has to be aware of.\r I highly recommend Dr Westerband to ladies in their 50's as well as teenagers! more

SUPERB OBGYN! I couldn't ask for a better obgyn. I live in OH and like many snowbirds, come down to sunny tucson for the winter. As I couldn't bring my regular obgyn with me, I asked my tucsonian friends if they knew of any good ob's and they directed me straight to Catherine--and I'm so very glad they did! For starters, everyone in the office is so genuine and compassionate. Dr. Westerband is very talented at what she does, she has a real gift. When I'm confused about something and ask her a question, her response is very helpful and if you don't understand something, she explains it very well. I think the best way to "rate" a doctor is by asking yourself the question, "Would I entrust this doctor to care for my daughter? Would I bring my daughter to see this doctor?" And for Catherine Westerband, my answer is an absolute 100% YES. more

I am 23 and pregnant with my first child. I first saw Dr. Westerband at Healthy Beginnings (a pregnancy outreach clinic, where she works once a week for half the day), because of insurance complications. I was eager to get care prenatal care or even just information as soon as I found out I was pregnant because of several complicated health issues I struggle with. From my initial appointment there, to subsequent appointments at her Orange Grove office, both my husband and I were very displeased with the way we were treated and the lack of respect, politeness and common courtesy we were shown. Dr. Westerband was cold, preoccupied, and short with me. She was dismissive of my concerns without even validated the seriousness of the issues I was facing during my pregnancy and the very real potential impact it could have on my unborn child. I have been going to Dr. Westerband and it has been nothing but a great experience for me. They are very thorough and they are very experienced. Dr. Westerband is a ver sensitive and competent doctor. The staff is very knowledgeable and caring as well. I absolutely recommend her. I recently became pregnant and she will be delivering my child in January and I am confident that I am in safe hands. more

Dr. Westerband as well as her nurses took the time to listen to my concerns as well as answered all my questions. They were really patient and made me feel quite comfortable. All of my calls to the office were returned in a very timely manner, the front staff were courteous and the medical assistants personable and professional. The whole office is so friendly! They go out of their way to make you comfortable and explain any issues. My insurance was giving us a hard time about paying some claims and the people in the billing department worked tirelessly appealing the claims. It worked! Dr Westerband is so down to earth and knowledgeable. The nurse practitioners are compassionate and personable. All in all an A+ in my book! more

The staff is wonderful, and Cathrine has years of experince under her belt. Not to mention how many familys she has blessed with happy heathy children. Even after birth she provided me with birth control options, And i recomend her highly! more

I have been using this office from some time. The doctor is very friendly and helpful. I also need to comment about the office staff. Sometimes if you like the doctor, the staff is lacking. However, in this office, they are all exceptional. I particularly like the nurse practitioner. more

I was a patient of Dr.Westerband. Perhaps a trial patient, at least that is how I felt. I had a condition(diagnosed immediately with another, more experienced doctor) that even through a surgical procedure she could not diagnose. She also gave me false information pertaining to my files, of which I recovered through a short file copy search. Or course, she began backtracking (when I confronted her) quite quickly after this. My recommendation,,, Just Don't!!! Its not worth your heatlh or your mind. And there are to many QUALIFIED doctors available. PROS: sorry, but I just can not think of one single thing CONS: too many to list,,,, just don't more
