Over the years I have purchased more than my fair share of exotic sports cars. Without reservation I can say that my dealings with Albert and team at West Coast Auto has been my most rewarding car buying experience to date. After a telephone conversation with Albert discussing the details of the purchase price ,trade in and financing, I drove 350 miles from Scottsdale, AZ to buy my new Mercedes Albert's word is his bond. No surprizes. WHAT BETTER WAY TO DO BUSINESS ON THE INTERNET?!!! From the test drive, the thorough going over the car with Albert to his getting me the best possible financing...and without any usual high pressure buy this, buy that....he took me to my final signature in a very professional manner. I actually think he cares about his clients! All the personnel that I met at West coast Auto were extremely courteous and professional. In summation, I will buy my next auto from Albert at West Coast Auto Sales.. . more

Where should I start? I live in North Hollywood California and my name is Charlie. I found West Coast Auto Sales? website www.wcautosales... on Internet. Their website looked very promising and professional? which is all a false appearance with all the pictures and the modern look. Anyway, after finding them on the internet, I decided to give them a call. I was looking at a 2006 Mercedes SLK320 Stick shift, which they had? long story short, I scheduled an appointment and went to Montclair from North Hollywood to check out the car. Once I got there, and asked to see the car? one of the ?Exotic Looking? girls who was working the front desk, got the keys and came out to show me the car. We took the car for a drive, and I noticed that the clutch is a little soft, and the car would have somewhat of a tough time going into 1st gear. When we came back, I started dealing with ?Sam?, who is one of the top sales guys or I shall say a TOP LIAR! In the company. This guy started promising me things, and telling me that I can?t find another car like the one I just test drove. He told me he can finance the car for me lower than the other dealership was promising me guaranteed!! I told him, that?s not my main concern. My concern is that the clutch on the car is completely worn out, so that needs to be changed before I can get the car. Or I can take it to the mechanic and have them check it out first. He said ?OK, OK? NO PROBLEM!? We will take care of that for you, if you sign the papers TODAY! At this point I really liked the car, so I said ok? You promise to change the clutch for me, I will sign the papers? and that?s what we did. I signed the papers? and he told me leave the car here and come back in 2 days it will be ready for pickup. So after 2 days I called in, and NONE of these guys SAM or ALI are available to answer my questions. Finally it took them about 3.5 days to answer my calls. They still didn?t call me back? I wonder why. So they tell me my car is ready for pick up. I went down from North Hollywood to Montclair (almost 2 hour drive) to pick the car up. What I found was a little suspicious at first. The car was parked exactly where I left it the day of the purchase. There were all these sprinkler watermarks on it from sitting under the sun for 3 and half days, and when I took the car out of the lot? it felt exactly the same! (They lied to me to waste my grace period, so I can?t return the car. I found this out after my mechanic looked at my car). I was very disappointed, but I figured maybe I am being too picky. So bottom line is this! They NEVER Changed my clutch. They called me after (72 hour GRACE PERIOD was over), knowing that under contract I can?t return the car. They gave me the WORST Financing Deal through their Bank, like 11% while SAM promised me 3%!!! This was not enough, my transmission crashed after 2 weeks of owning the car. I called them back, they said it?s your car now, you should think about how to fix it. My Mechanic was shocked when he took the transmission out! It was a replaced and misplaced transmission already, someone took it out and put it back in without calibration? the faulty transmission completely ruined my differential on the car and the ?Engine Hub? that connects to the transmission! This whole thing cost me close to $12,000 in repairs. These guys wouldn?t help me with anything!!! When I called them to tell them that my engine light was turning on earlier, the front desk would jerk my chain and wouldn?t transfer me to any of the sales guys. She would tell me ?Check your gas cap? and she would tell me that she will have someone call me back.. NOBODY EVER CALLED ME BACK!! I tried suing them, but since the car was pre-owned, that did not work. Good Luck & God Bless! more

*New Update* I have to update this review and let people know what happened. Couple days after the purchase, there was a noise from the front end of my Jeep. I let Sam know about it and he did not even ask for details. He said, ""take it back and we will have it fixed"". It was that easy. The mechanic was super nice too. He was very friendly and went on a test drive with me. He was patient enough to listen to my questions and observations. The whole process was painless and it turned out to be a minor part just needed some DW40. The car was ready for pick up soon and I am driving my Jeep back on the road. I would call this a very comprehensive experience and review. I hope my observations would help people looking for used cars. If you ask me if West Coast Auto Sales is perfect, I would probably say not really, there is no perfect thing. But they are trying their best, with the leadership of Sam, and heading to the right direction. ** [Original Review]: I would have to say Westcoast is doing something different in the muddy used car market. I recently purchased a Jeep from Westcoast and it was a great experience. I spent a lot of time with the GM Sam and I believe he is doing whatever he could to provide customers with quality vehicles and a pleasant shopping experience. Sam is very transparent about all the vehicles on the lot and I could tell that he is very confident on the quality of the cars as well. He actually showed me around including the mechanic shop he has at the back. Thorough out the process, Sam did not push me into buying the car nor he tried to hide anything about the car from me. Sam is very determined to differentiate his business from rest of the competition. I am a graduate business student and Sam discussed a lot of his plans and business ideas with me. I can tell from the conversation that he cares about his customers during the sale and also after the sale. He put a lot of emphasis on the relationship developed with his customers and that means a lot to customers like me who is looking for quality used cars. In addition, I can feel a high level of honesty throughout the conversations I had with Sam and other folks in the dealer. They are honest enough to tell me that there could be some problems that are not discovered by their mechanics in the checking process but they are able to give a 30 day/1000miles warranty with all the vehicles. I am very positive that if I do encounter any problem with my Jeep, they will take good care of me and my car. Overall speaking, this is the best experience I have had buying a car. I feel safe and comfortable putting my money down for the Jeep. Sam is great person and a even better GM. His sales team is also very passionate about the business. Recently got my car from the dealership. The experience was great and did my homework well before I dropped by their lot. My Benz 350 was a great deal. Thought there might be something wrong with it since it was the best price on autotrader. I asked to see the title, carfax and inspect the car and everything checked great. My husband & I recently had the BEST auto buying experience, EVER, with West Coast Auto. We dealt with Tony, Vanessa, and Sam (the GM). All three were extremely professional, non-agressive, and sincere. They treated us with the utmost respect and made us feel welcomed. We went in with less than perfect credit and worried that we wouldn't qualify for anything. However, Sam worked hard and was able to get us financed, and out the door in a sparkling BMW 745Li. I dealt with the GM (Sam) and 2 sales associates (Albert and Tony) and found all to be honest, professional, friendly and more than willing to go the extra mile for my business. Westcoast Auto is stocked with pre-owned, high end autos, most with low mileage. Competitive pricing and reasonable/competitive in house financing.
