West Allis Veterinary Clinic

"I have been bringing my dogs to the West Allis Veterinary Clinic for a few years now. I had previously gone to another clinic, but was unsatisfied with the high prices, difficulty in scheduling appointments, and impersonal care. I have always found staff at the West Allis Vet Clinic to be friendly and helpful. For example, one of my dogs gets very nervous during these appointments and can get aggressive with other animals due to that. Your staff have been able to schedule us at an early time when the clinic is less busy as a way to help that situation. My other dog just turned 9 years old, and as I have never owned a senior animal, I wasn't sure how to care for him differently. I was very happy with the suggestions and advice that Dr. Banceu offered. I learned that simple preventative measures like dental cleanings can positively affect my older dog's health. I would never go anywhere else with my animals aside from this clinic, they have great prices, amazing doctors & the staff is as friendly as ever. They always do they're best to squeeze people in last minute, or help with any questions you may have as quickly as possible. It's always clean & I just can't imagine taking my pets anywhere else! more

The Doctors are caring and very mindful of the fact that not everyone has a ton of money to spend on their pets, even though they love them.\r The reception staff is very friendly and caring as well as the techs.\r It is very clean and now that they remodeled it is even better.\r What more can I say except I give the Doctors and staff at the West Allis Veterinary Clinic a huge thumbs up!!! more

Satisfactory. No more and no less. The receptionist and nurse are assets to the company. Their nurse was extremely helpful and understanding when my puppy was crying from the shots. THE VETERINARIAN WAS NOT! He was not helpful or understanding. When I asked questions, it seemed like it was it was a burden for him to answer. I believe vets should educate the parent so we can prevent any sickness. I personally wont return to this vet as the doctor was very impersonal. Also, when they ask for a stool sample, it isn?t part of the average check up ? its extra. Ask about costs before entering the room. Money is not a problem, I would like to know before the bill hits. \r It was more like a DMV style vet... NEXT!!! more

My 3 year old yellow lab would not chew her rawhide bones and her breath was bad. I called my old vet of 45 years and they were going to charge us $500 to $700 for a teeth cleaning and possible extraction. I read the reviews on this web site and my old vet was expensive. We decided to switch vets. West Allis reviews were 5 star so we decided to switch to their clinic. I dropped Gracie off in the morning and everyone greeted her and she liked them. She had a physical exam. They did an EKG, labwork and put her under anesthesia. They checked her stool and cut her nails. They called me and told me her tooth was badly cracked and they needed to extract it. I picked her up in the afternoon. They brought her out to me and her tail was wagging and she had a cute little scarf on. They had given her pain meds and sent her home with 2 medications. The total bill was $325. I expect it would have been around $200 without the extraction. I feel her care was excellent. I appreciated the lower fee. I more

I just wouldn't go anywhere else but West Allis. It's so great to know you're pet is in good hands with skilled staff and competent doctors. I've never been more pleased with vet care. more

I have been taking my cats to Dr. Grewal at the West Allis Veterinary Clinic for over 10 years. He is a terrific vet - - kind and caring but honest and direct. He answers all my questions and I never feel rushed. In emergency situations his staff is very responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this clinic. more

I brought my kitten here after having problems with her surgery at another vet and they took such great care of her! The vet also helped me out in the cost department since I had already paid over $200 for her surgery and had to essential have it all re-done. HIGHLY Recommend and Very friendly and sanitary environment. more
