I hired werner-Donaldson because they were recommended by my realtor. Some of the reviews have been positive, unfortunately mine is not. First, the movers showed up 2people short, which took much longer than should have. When we finally arrived at our destination it was late. The leasing office was closed which resulted in staying overnight at a hotel (at our expense) with no clothes. The next morning we unloaded which resulted in one broken glass on a picture, a broken pedestal on my dinning room table which cannot be replaced. They (the movers) patched it with glue so it is usable but did not report any of the damage to the office. Therefore when I complained they have the audacity to offer me a good will gesture amount of $66.00 for the table which is an Ethan Allen hard rock maple and not made anymore. I would not recommend them to anyone since they do not live up to their word. Also my moving amount was more than estimated. Jane Dare more

Werner Donaldson gave me a phone quote to move the contents of my storage unit from Clearwater to Tarpon Springs. The crew was very professional and efficient. Nothing was damaged and the price came in lower than the original quote which resulted in a refund for me. I would definitely recommend this company. more

I used Werner Donaldson to move from Tampa to Atlanta. I was extremely satisfied. The guys were great. Jarvis and Ernest were professional and courteous. They had a great attitude when loading in Tampa and unloading in Atlanta. I definitely recommend these two guys in particular as well as Werner Donaldson as a whole. The office staff was also very helpful and professional in communicating to me throughout my move. more

I have moved with Werner Donaldson, and specifically with Garner Willis, at least 4 times. Each move has gone smoothly - pickup and delivery as promised. Garner and his team never fail to go above and beyond to ensure my complete satisfaction! more

I'm a college student in Tampa and I was moving between apartments, and as life goes with college students, the budget was tight. WD gave me great service for a competitive price and there weren't any kind hidden of charges. I got exactly what I was expecting. The crew got the job done quickly but carefully and they were very polite. All of my belongings came out of the truck in the same condition they went in, no damage at all. Kenny and Joe did an awesome job. If/when I move again I'll definitely call WD again. more

I would highly recommend Werner Donaldson. They moved my family from Tampa to Pittsburgh and everything was done first rate. The crew was courteous and professional and treated our belongings with great care. We've moved before and this was by far our best experience. They exceeded our expectations. more

Werner Donaldson did a great job. They showed up on pickup day as promised and on time. Their employees were very careful and professional in loading our belongings. They had to unload and store our stuff because no delivery truck was available for several days, so they did all that at no expense to us and big expense to them. On the delivery end the driver called ahead as promised and showed up right on time. The employees again were very careful with our stuff and very fast, too. We were very happy with the communication and the price, which ended up being lower than the estimate after the load was less than expected . If you need to move long-distance, trust Werner Donaldson . This is the second time we have used them and were happy both times.\r \r more

My experience 1/21/2011

I hired Werner Donaldson to do a residential move of no more than 35 miles. When Mike Martin quoted the cost of the move, it was very competitive. He mentioned that they would be using a larger truck and most items won't be required to be broken down. As he called it ""floated on"". He did give me a bottom line price that they would not exceed. \r Unfortunately, they sent over a much smaller truck and the entire house was broken down and pack in like sardines to the top! It was when they were moving into the next residence that I noticed dings/grooves in my wood furniture, even though all the wood was wrapped in padding. Luckily, none of the glass or mirrors broke. I felt due to the ""sardine"" packing that is how some of the wood pieces were damage. \r The office staff was very courteous and polite and they constantly called me during both moves of how things were going. \r At the end, for some reason the final price was slightly more. I had them look into it the following day and find out that it was a mistake and ultimately the actual cost was much, much less than the original quote. It took a while to receive this credit. \r Coincidentally, even though the movers were aware of the damage, they never follow through to offer repairs. I didn't pursue it, because I was disgusted, but an acknowledgment from the office would have been appreciated. Unfortunately, nothing was ever mentioned. \r more

Left us stranded and took my bike 12/16/2010

The packing job went well in Tampa. The crew that came out was polite and worked hard. Our troubles did not begin until after we arrived in Atlanta. The truck did not show up on its scheduled arrival day and the company provided no notice that it would be late. After we got in touch with the right person, we learned that there would be about a 5-7 day delay until they could get everything to Atlanta. We were in our new house by this point with an 18 month old baby and had nothing except the things we brought in our car. The truck did finally show up after approximately 7 days and the crew they hired in Atlanta to unload was a pack of thugs. One guy in particular I remember talked on and on to the others about how many times he'd beaten a DUI arrest. They also claimed that they could not get their truck down my street because it was to steep. So, on the spot they came up with a price of $800 that had to be paid in cash to rent a smaller Uhaul truck and shuttle our furniture and boxes little by little from a department store parking lot a few miles away where they parked the big truck. I later learned it is a violation of their rules for the driver to be out of sight of his truck when customer goods are on it, but he spent the entire day out of view of his truck. \r \r Anyway, the biggest loss was that a valuable and nearly brand new Trek mountain bike was missing from the delivery. Mike Martin and the rest of the management team in Tampa claimed they had no liability because I did not buy the extra insurance and I have never been able to recover the bike. Two police departments refused to investigate because I could not tell them if it had disappeared in Tampa, Atlanta, or somewhere in between. \r That bike had a special hitch on it that attached to a baby trailer my son and I used to go for rides. Trek stopped making the hitch right around the time I bought the bike and it took me over a year to find a replacement to use on a different bike. It has been over two years since this company screwed me and it still hurts that I let a company with such little regard for other peoples happiness enter my life. Every time I see one of their orange trucks on the road I cringe and hope that the family that hired that one does not get robbed and taken advantage of the way I did. more

GREAT MOVERS 5/26/2009

My neighbor used them when they moved and told me about them. They did a great job for us, and the office staff were always nice. They helped us during a very difficult time by being flexible with our schedule. Mikes attitude and professionalism took a lot of stress off of us. We would reccomend to anyone. more

BEWARE of Werner Donaldson Moving 7/3/2008

I called a sales person Mike Martin who was not honest, after the sale did not return my calls. The GM took 3 days to return my calls when I was trying to get my items shipped to me. We had to call every person in corporate to get our items which took us 6 weeks and they shipped it in 2 loads. It is still not here and likely we have lost most of our possessions. BEWARE, they are completely unscrupulous !!! I had to give it one star to register the review. I would give it -10 if I could. Cons: Dishonest, un-professional, do not return calls more
