AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! My sister took her beautiful Australian Labradoodle there and she came back shaved even after my sister told them SPECIFICALLY not to shave her. They were rude and made mean comments to my sister and refused to give her her money back for a job done poorly. My sister left in tears. Don't take your beloved pet to Wendy's!!!! more

We have been taking our two large goldendoodles to Wendy's for some time now... they do an excellent job!! One of them has very curly fur, but since she's half poodle and half golden retriever, it's much thicker than poodle coats. They always help her look fabulous! We've had several groomers give them haircuts, and I think Wendy's does the best job. The girls are always happy coming back, of course, as they have always hated haircuts and baths... but I've never had any concerns about their care at Wendy's. more

I have taken my animals to several different groomers over the years. Never been able to find just the right one... A friend of mine suggested that I try out Wendy's... From the moment I walked in, to the time I left with my dog, it witnessed a friendly, inviting, and cheerful atmosphere. They were very informative about holistic foods, and answered every question I had... I have found a new groomer, and will highly recommend Wendy's Pampered Pets to anyone!!! more

I have taken my dogs to Wendy's for years and have never had anything short of exceptional service. My dogs love the staff and look great when I pick them up. The staff is competent, flexible, kind to my animals, and the price is very reasonable for the service I receive. I will never take my pets anywhere else. more

I have had 6 dogs over the last 30 years and Wendy has taken care of all of them. She and her staff are the best in Columbus. They are all very caring people and will bend over backwards to be helpful. She has the view that she treats them as if they were her own. I can't say enough good things about this business more

Some of these reviews r insane... Sparse parking? There is a full lot behind the building and as far as the urine smell I have seen several owners watch as their pet has urinated on the furniture and do not mention it to the staff so it can be properly cleaned. I have never been to a groomer who cares as much about the pets they groom as wendys... Not only do they do wonderful hand scissor work they have also helped with health issues that several vets and thousands of dollars later couldn't figure out.... They are a very caring establishment and knowledgable about health concerns.... more

Wendy is very accomitating and cares for the pets... If I need them to stay past closing time because I am running late or open a little early for me they always do so... My dog is done by hand scissor when other groomers would only shave my dog. I have walked in several times and not noticed and have seen nothing but care to the pet being worked on.. They have educated me on foods that have stopped my dog from scratching all the time and tell me if they notice a bump that wasn't there last time he was groomed that ended up being cancer... If the staff had not pointed it out the out come may not have been positive.. more

I have been taking my old english sheep dog here for a while now. Her coat is extremely difficult to handle by myself. Wendy's is the only place in columbus that knows what they are doing. As for all of the bad reviews, I completely disagree with them. I have walked in on them unexpectedly and never seen anybody harming an animal. In fact, they always take the dog they are grooming off of the table to assist me so the dog does not jump off and hurt itself. The staff is caring and have even taken the time to show me how to groom my dog in between trips to Wendy's. more

I have taken my dogs to Wendy for several years and will never go any place else. The groomers are helpful, nice to my dogs, and always make them look great for a reasonable price (yes they are cash or check only but credit card companies charge businesses for each credit charge). My dogs and I are treated right there! more

My whole family has taken dogs to be groomed at Wendy's for over 20 years. She has groomed all breeds we have owned very well and has also helped us in selecting new dogs. I am shocked at some of the previous review, as we have NEVER had any issues. She also boarded our great dane when ourt parents home had fire damage and they had to live in a condo...she did a WONDERFUL job and TRUELY LOVES dogs. more

Recently, I took my cat to Wendy?s Pampered Pets to get a haircut, as ironic a name for a business as there ever was one. When I walked in to pick up my pet, I witnessed Wendy strike him. She wasn?t aware I was standing there. Now, keep in mind, despite the fact that my cat did swing a paw at her, he was de-clawed and wearing a mask, completely defenseless and certainly not a threat to her. more

What you don't know about Wendy is that she is one of the foremost breeders of poodles in the US. Her dogs have taken award after award. She understands the cuts better than anyone. I have always found her staff to be helpful, friendly and compassionate with my toy poodle, Brutus. Brutus only weighed 4 lbs and they always took their time and did an EXCELLENT job. I wouldn't go anywhere else in Columbus. more

The staff is rude, but that would be acceptable if they cared well for animals. They cut my dogs neck and didnt tell me possibly because they didnt notice. Several days later my dog has an infected wound and it cost me several hundred dollars at the vet. I highly doubt this is an isolated incident. Cons: Price & Service more

My dog went to Wendy's for a basic bath and grooming. We picked him up and brought him back home with no initial problems. Then, his foot started bleeding all over the bed and the newly laundered sheets! It even got on our mattress! They had cut his nail too short without telling us, and the cauterizing powder had been knocked loose. I called to complain, but they did not seem very concerned. They also left his nails ragged and splintered, so I had to fix that myself. It's a pricey place. I paid 43 dollars for a mini poodle basic grooming, so I feel like my dog should not be bleeding when he comes home! Cons: service, final product more

I took my two dogs to Wendy's to be groomed for the first and last time recently. I have to say, in 20 years of owning dogs and having them groomed, this was the ABSOLUTE WORST experience I have ever had. For starters, the place reeks of a horrible, unclean odor as soon as you walk in. Parking is scarce. When I went to pick up my dogs, I noticed the lobby area had turned into a playroom/dining room for one of the employees' children. I certainly understand that children need to accompany their parents to work on occassion, but the table, couch, and floor were so unkempt that we felt as if WE were interrupting. She certainly could have apologized for the mess since she must not have had the time to straighten it up (or just didn't care). As I waited for Wendy to go get my dogs from the back, one of the dogs in the grooming room wandered out into the lobby area.
