Very bad experience 2/16/2012

If you do not want to be judged, do not go to eastside urgent care. I waited an hour. I did not have insurance, so I paid $125. Two people who arrived after me got in before me. They had insurance. I got there and told the nurse that I had pain during urination and pain in my back where my kidneys are. They supposedly did a urinalysis, but came back two minutes later and said there was no infection. She made it clear that she thought that I was just a drug seeker. She told me to just drink water. On the discharge note, she made a point of saying that I should take a LOW dose of Tylenol, even though that was not my chief complaint. I went to my regular doctor the next day and there was an infection there. Hmmm.... I was able to get the proper medication from my doctor. The doctor at Urgent Care was extremely rude and judgmental. I had been out of work for six months, and I had to ask for the money to go from someone else. I will be making sure that I get my money back and I will not be going there again. more

Good Doctors Here 4/24/2009

I know this clinic is under new mangement and it shows.I recently had to go there for a friend and then after that myself. Both of us were surprised at how clean and bright the place was.My insurance was checked along with my id.I paid for my visit and only waited about 40 minutes to be taken back to a room. The staff was professional and funny. They made me feel relaxed and comfortable. My doctor was gentle, smart and quick.I really appreciated this because I has somewhere else I had to be that evening. They called in my prescription and I was on my way.I liked how they handled me and appreciate their care. It's a nice place to go when you need medical care. Pros: Compassionate Docs more

Nice experience & Nice Doctors 4/24/2009

I came here when I hurt myself working around the house. The receptionist was pleasant and thoughtful about my discomfort. She got me registered quickly and got me into a room.My doctor was upbeat, compassionate and spent a lot of time with me talking about my xrays and what i needed to do to heal my injury. They gave me an ice pack for free and someone even called me a couple days later to make sure I was doing ok and that i didn't have any questions about my care. Not even my primary care doctor has ever spent this much time with me.My son was also with me that day and the staff played with him and kept him occupied while I had my xrays taken. It was 1 of the best visits i have had with a physician under unpredictable circumstances.I would certainly return if I had any other medical needs & encourage anyone else to give this urgent care a try.I am a satisfied patient! Pros: clean.fast more

Urgent Care that REALLY CARES! 2/6/2009

I am a local mom who has been going to this urgent care for 3 years.I have NEVER had a bad experience at Eastside Urgent Care. The doctors have always been patient, kind and knowledgeable.1 evening i had to take my sick child and it was slightly after they had closed registration for new patients. The staff let me register my son anyway and we were seen by the doctor quickly after that. The doctor & staff did not rush us & treated my son well. As a working mother that has to manage a lot of small emergencies I have depended on this urgent care and have not been disappointed.I know the center in under new management now and have seen them updating the office.I am thankful for the care my family has received there and can not agree with concern1234's nasty opinion. Pros: open 7 days a week and the doctors are really great more

worst wait than an emercegncy room and horrible docters!! 1/9/2009

webt in because i thught i sprained something in my back at work, well hours after being there i was told it was just a muscle spazm and take it easy it would go away, well it didin't it continued to get worse so i went to a chiroprator and he did ex rays on my back with other test such as emgs's. I hade 2 slipped diskc in my babck one was the largest they had ever seen and they could not figur how i was walking around. I required surgery and i stil have to have surgery again to put steel plates and rods in my back, if they would have done it right the first time it may not have gottn this bad i really hat that place i dont; recommed taking my dog there. more

urgent care to avoid 12/18/2007

My wife had recently severely sprained her ankle and was first diagnosed as broken by the urgent care physician. He sent her to Mercy Anderson Hospital where she had to stay for 4 days. After being examined by a specialist he diagnosed that the breaks on the X-rays were from an old break that she had several years back and that the ankle was severely sprained but due to the nature of the sprain and the old scaring from the previou break which has developed arthritis, that she would have to wear a boot cast for several months. she was recently released to go back to work where she has to stand almost 8 hrs. a day, when she got home her ankle was in a lot of pain, enough to bring tears to her eyes. So we thought that perhaps we could go to the urgent care to see if they could do something to ease the pain. After wait for three hours she got in to see the attending doctor. He said he would have to examine the ankle. All he did was look at it and without further examination, he told her that there was no swelling and that she was just faking it to get narcotics and that she must be a junkie. I can assue you that his accusations were far from the truth. I also could not believe that a doctor could show so little compassion and caring for a persons well-being as he did. It was totally opposite from what I thought a doctor was supposed to do. So if you need to receive professional doctors care I would suggest going some place other than the urgent care on Ohio Pk. You can get more compassion on any street corner than you could there.\r Cons: unprofessional Doctor more
