I've been very happy with Dr. Frank. He successfully diagnosed and repaired my dog's knee and was was very upfront and professional when she later was diagnosed with cancer.

Worst

I brought my new puppies there because the pet store used them for their guarantee. I brought them twice for coughing, and both times they told me thay had a cold virus, not kenne...

TERRIBLE! I got my puppy from a little pet shop, and only went here because the shop said they would cover my puppy's next set of shots if we went the vet their puppies go to. When I went for the first visit they gave him medication for a cold and said they would give him the shots on the shop's bill when the cold was entirely cleared. It took over a month before his coughing and sneezing was completely gone, and when I returned they tried to tell me I had to pay for the exam and shots!! Furious, I called the pet shop because the lady at the front desk said it was because the shop was going out of business. When I talked to the owner, he contacted them, and they told him the reason they tried to charge me was because it was six weeks since my last visit. They just couldn't get their stories straight...on top of that everyone there has a nasty attitude. Nothing good about this place WHATSOEVER!! more

Stay away! 10/8/2011

Dr. Frank removed a tumor from my cat's leg. The stitches had poorly placed and the cat's skin at been puckered and not sutured correctly. He had a vet tech remove the stitches and did not examine the cat at all himself. The tech even mentioned there was a red spot we needed to keep an eye on. The vet still did not examine the cat himself. more

Bad first experience! 9/17/2011

I brought my new puppies there because the pet store used them for their guarantee. I brought them twice for coughing, and both times they told me thay had a cold virus, not kennel cough and no treatment was required. When the puppies showed no improvement and my other dogs started coughing, I took them to MY vet who drew blood and had it analyzed and determined that the puppies had kennel cough and had spread it to my other dogs. I have spent $600 so far on treatment of all of my dogs, the puppies still have kennel cough, and I lost a litter worth $10,000 from my pregnant female. more

Not professional 6/23/2011

We never had any problems with Dr. Frank until our cat had to have a tumor removed. He correctly diagnosed him and performed the surgery, however when we returned to have the stitches out 12 days later, a tech completed it and they never should have been taken out. His wound reopened later that day and we had to rush to find an emergency vet to fix our cat's open leg because his office closed early and the emergency vet line they take you to was closed also.\r \r When we called the next day to discuss some sort of reimbursement or help with the new vet bill we were told it wasn't his fault and he would have even charged us for the anesthesia to put him back under to correct the problem had we returned to his office. We are now $600 in the hole (more than the original surgery even cost!) to fix something that he should have fixed himself. Not happy. more

unorganized 5/7/2011

Everyone there is rude and pushy!!! The Dr. Was very unconcerned when my brand new puppy had a cough, he just gave him cough suppresents, which hardly worked. He kept calling my dog a she, when its quite clear that He is not. My dog also had an ear infection and they were looking at the right ear, then wrote on the prescription to put the drops in his left ear, so I called to make sure it was the right ear and they couldn't get the chart for some reason. The Dr. Makes me nervous. He also asked me if I was going to fix him and we asked maybe how much is it, and he said oh we can discuss that, when I thought we were discussing it...I really think I should go to a different vet! more

Unpleasant 4/20/2011

The whole office staff including Dr. Frank is rude. All they care about is money. They make you feel like a bad pet owner if you don't come out spending a lot of money. I have been coming there for along time and I'm getting a bad taste I my mouth. He can't keep staff. Its a revolving door. That's not a good sign. Stay away. I've learned my lesson more

Over all happy 4/11/2011

Dr. Frank's is awesome. I have been taking my animals (I have several) for over 10 years. I have never had any problems with them until this last time when I had to put my dog down. The girl that was there was very unsympathetic to the situation and very cold. Other than that they are really great. He saved my dog when she got sick from kidney failure 2 1/2 yrs ago. I love his office & staff minus this newest girl that works there. I would recommend him to anyone. more

Bad veterinarian 1/12/2009

I initially went to this vet because I had moved and the location was the closest to my house. I even went into work late that day because my cat was sick, and I wanted them to diagnose her. I was there for ten minutes while they gave her a shot. I paid over $50 to not even find out the real problem. I was also told that my cat didn't need an annual check-up because apparently cats don't need them every year.\r The problem then preceded to get worse over the past two months, so I went back to the vet since he knew of the issue and I had paid all the money prior. He then told me again that there was nothing wrong with her despite the issue being blatantly obvious. I pled with the staff that my cat was sick, and only then, did they get medication ready for my pet. They didn't even know the issue but attempted to charge me money for the prescription. Great Choice! 3/18/2008

Dr. Frank is a wonderful vet! I have been taking my pets to him for about 10 years and he is great with all of them. His staff is great also. Anytime one of my animals have been sick he has taken great care of them and even calls and checks on them the next day!I highly recommend him, no matter what type of pet you have! more

Your search for a good vet continues 2/23/2007

Besides a few bad experiences with the front desk people (being ignored, rude behavior), I never got a good feeling about the doctor. He diagnosed my cat with diabetes and for about 8 months. I got all of my supplies through them (insulin, needles, prescription food...). One day I called in to get the insulin refilled and they had no record of the vet ever diagnosing my cat. ...missing records? ...and of course rude about it, like it was my fault that they lost my records.
