Dr. Kimberly was such a nice Doctor. I had a cold and she prescribed all the right medications. I recommend anyone to go to this hospital. Very nice staff.:} more

I would not go here again. Unethical in the way that they bill. They found a way to bill a small laceration on my son nearly $500 to my insurance in which we have to pay 60%. He was in/out in 20 minutes and it left a scar. The report says wound was 1.5 cm and was actually 0.4 cm so they could bill the higher amount. Companies like this are what is wrong with healthcare costs today. I showed to a wound Dr. and he said it was fraud since they should have used another billing code, but technically they could use the one they did and get the higher amount. They will surely do that to you too so beware. more

Took my mother there for a swollen hand due to her cat scratching her. The staff brought her a wheelchair since she has trouble walking. They took her in promptly and we were out in less than an hour. So quick and helpful. more

Hurt my foot by stepping in a hole carrying mattress helping someone move. I went to Wedgewood. I was diagnosed by Doctor without taking X-rays. He told me I had torn ligaments and no broken bones. He gave me an ankle brace and told me to use crutches for three weeks. He told me all of the instructions would be on the paperwork when I left. Two days later my foot still a balloon and hurting. Go to my doctor, who immediate says I have to get it X-rayed and that a foot injury like mine should never be diagnosed without an X-ray. They joked about him having X-ray vision. Got x-ray at foot doctor next morning and I have a fracture. He chuckled at the ankle brace provided by this place and said it was worthless, along with the medication they prescribed. Should have been in a boot right away. To top it off, the sheet they gave me when I left was for an ankle injury with an onset of pain of an unknown origin. I noticed this when I got in the car, and I wife went back in to ask them about it., and get the correct paperwork. She said they were rude and told her she didn't need any other papers. I called the next day as I needed something in writing for work more than what they gave me. They told me that I was not hurt bad enough and could drive in 3 days, so why did I have to miss work. I told them the doctor told me I had torn ligaments and needed to be on crutches for 3 weeks. They said I was not on crutches and their was nothing on the paperwork form the doctor about torn ligaments or crutches. After finding out about my fracture I left a message for the owner of this place. He didn't call me back within 4 days, so I called again and talked to him. He assured me he would either have the doctor that treated me give me a call, or he would call me back. A week and a half later, and I am still waiting on that call back after leaving another message. more

I went to Wedgewood Urgent Care last week after a bad fall on an icy sidewalk. The staff front staff saw me limping in across the parking lot and came out with a wheelchair! I was back with hardly a wait at all and the entire staff was great. It's nice having a place right around the corner where I can receive quality care and even an x-ray without waiting in the ER for hours! Highly recommend this facility!!! more

I had a great experience at Wedgewood. I came in for flu like symptoms. I had about a 45 minute wait, which wasn't bad at all since I have had to wait longer at my family doctors office with an appointment! I do understand that ""urgent care"" doesn't mean that I will be seen urgently, it means that the matter I am being seen for can't wait until I can be seen by my family doctor 2 weeks from now. The doctors were great and the staff was excellent! I would recommend to all!! more

Not sure why all the negative reviews. Great Urgent Care! Fantastic physicians and staff. 20 mins is a long wait??? Does anyone take into consideration that a group of people might all walk in at the same time??? I have gone a couple of times and waited a short time and others have been longer. It A) beats waiting until the next day to get into a family doctor and B) waiting HOURS at the ER. I think some people need to come down to reality. Wonderful Urgent Care!!!! more

Went to urgent care on a Friday with larngitis. Monday and I am still miserable. Sunday was the worse.\r Had a follw-up call on Monday and when I requested information and a recommendation for a decongestent, the arrogant staff member who called and asked me about the service I received told me to go to the interent! Would not, or could not give me the information or offer to contact a doctor with my question.\r I am not sure why the high charge for service when you cannot get service. Maybe the staff should be trained for customer service! more

I went to Wedgewood Urgent Care last week for seeking immediate attention.\r I had a flu like symptom and condition,, I was already feeling somewhat dizzy,, and couldn't even sit up.\r On the form initially filled out, I explain, feverish, coughing, feeling dizzy, already. I did not get admitted inside for 20+ mins,, After nurse took me to a room and took blood pressure and temperature,, the doctor didn't come for another 30min,, which doctor's examination was only a few min to tell me I had a flu. By the time I got out,, it had been already over one hour!! \r So much for the Urgent Care.\r Try this place when it is not so urgent,, and you can afford to wait,, or pain and suffer. Pros: Were there any??? Cons: It just took damn to long!!! more

I have had good experiences in the past with this place, but last week when I took my son there after a car accident (when he refused to go to the ER), and they said has may have a headache for a day or two and sent him home but would be fine. Then less than 12 hours later took him to another doctor who diagnosed him with a concussion! They (wedgewood)didn't even advise him not to drive or anything!!! They had a new doctor at Wedgewood and I was leery. If you have small cold/sore throat, they are OK, any possibility of anything serious, STAY AWAY!!!!!! Pros: relatively fast Cons: Missed diagnoses! Depends on who is there. more

Made a trip to Urgent Care on a Thursday evening with fiance who had high fever for 3 days and kidney area pain after bout with UTI. Called ahead to suggest how sick person coming in was asking whether they thought I should take her to ER. Told me to bring her in. Was welcomed by an admissions person who could care less how sick she was, treatment staff put her on saline for an hour. Had to beg them for more direct treatment, antibiotic, an actual diagnosis. Took my fiance to ER next morning where they promptly admitted her to critical care where she remained for a painfully long 4 days. When in doubt don't go to Urgent Care in Powell. Pros: Location Cons: poorly diagnosed and treated kidney infection more

I have visited this center twice and both times been very pleased with the doctors with whom I had interaction. In fact, I even asked one why she was not in her own practice. Her reasons were largely logistical . . . she seemed to have everything a private practice doc would need: good listening skills, pleasant bedside manner and a thorough, knowledgeable approach. \r No longer will an urgent care center be used only when no other choice exists: I will come here anytime that my regular doctor can't accommodate me!
