Webers Place

Terrible environment, dirty, the waitress kept messing up the order and the place is dangerous! The bouncer holds a gun and the place is filled with shady ghetto characters. There are no girls whatsoever here. Do not recommend unless you're trying to get in a fight more

This place deserves no stars whatsoever and they won't be getting any from me. Seems that Webers doesn't value its customers as much as it values the appearance of their business. Back in the day, you could at least get reasonable customer service, my co workers and I would come here on our lunch break, sometimes after work or if we were really feeling ourselves we would come on Friday nights. My last two very recent visits here have not been the best nor has the customer service. I've placed orders recently over the phone but when I arrive there is no cook and the management team blatantly lies. Now this last experience I spoke to the manager and advised that my last experience was not the greatest and he promised my order would be ready in 20 minutes. Well when I get there, there is no cook, the manager was not even there which means the phone was probably forwarded to his cell phone, the batender said she got the order from the manager but she doesn't work in the kitchen and has no idea where the cook is or if the cook is even coming. I thought I was being punk'd but after being baffled, I became pissed that the manager would even lie to me and tell me that my order would be ready in 20 minutes when there is not even a cook at this place and guess what the manager wasn't there either. What kinds of bafoonery of a business are they running here at Webers. I have been coming here since 2001 and until the last 2 times I never had a problem. What kind of manager lies to their customers? A word goes a long way, the best form of advertisement is by word of mouth and I am going to tell and reach everyone possible to stay away from this place. The best way is to hit them in their pockets when they will not get any customers and maybe then they will wake up and not treat their customers like crap with lies and lack of customer service. I called the number back which led to the manager and told him that I would not be paying for my food, When and if the cook did arrive and why should I after such horrible customer service. I even asked why he lied and he couldn't answer that but he wanted to give me a discount, the hell he was, I shouldn't have to pay for anything after being blatantly lied to. The manager said he would call me back and he did 30 minutes later to say that the cook would be there in 20 minutes but then soon after he calls the bartender and she says the cook would be there until 40 minutes. Again a second lie from the manager, what in the sam hell. They are going to reap what they sow and this is not the way to treat loyal customers or customers at all. I don't have to put up with such nonsense so I left and told them that word travels far. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. more

The only word I can think of when I think of Weber's is ghetto. We were upstairs celebrating my friend's birthday and there was a huge CSUN frat party downstairs. No waitress ever checked on us so we had to downstairs to get our drinks. My friend was assaulted and sodomized when some kid shoved his fingers up her skirt, etc. Then to top it off..said ghetto individuals start a fight (Not surprising) One ""frat"" girl had the crap kicked out of her, and then someone saw a gun. I felt like I was in Compton with everyone trying to vacate the building ASAP. I can say I will never be going here again due to their lack of security and ignoring compliance with max occupancy laws. more

So they try to be a little bit of something for everyone. So what right? Not bad place to chill and watch the game. Yeah the food isn't gourment, so what LA has lots of other choiices. But, if you find yourself out on a Monday night looking for somewhere to chill and watch football you could do way worse than this place. more

I am not a sports fan but enjoyed my experience at Webers. I went on a Tuesday night the night where some of the best singers in the valley (and LA) come to do their thing! It was my first time at Webers and I will be back for more. The food was not especially good. If I didn't have to order I wouldn't the next time I go. The service was good. I think they needed one more waitress so you don't have to wait too long to get food or refills. It is nicely decorated. The Ambience was nice. If you want a nice place to socialize with friends, have a drink and watch the game this is a great place right here in the valley. WHO KNEW?! more

WENT OUT FOR HAPPY HOUR....APPETIZER MENU FEATURES 1/2 PRICE ITEMS...MORE THAN HALF OF THE ITEMS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR HAPPY HOUR...OKAY....MAKE A PAPER COPY OF HAPPY HOUR MENU...FINALLY MADE A CHOICE FROM THE FEW CHOICE AVAILABLE...GUESS WHAT THEY WERE OUT...OF SPINACH DIP!!! MADE A SECOND CHOICE, THEY WERE OUT...THEY WERE ALSO OUT OF BURGERS...OFFERED ME A TURKEY BURGER...UH...NO....TOOK 25 MINUTES FOR FRIES AND THEN THEY WERE COLD....WAITRESS NEVER SAID HER NAME, OFFERED NO NAPKINS OR PLATES (SHE WAS ONLY SERVING 8 OTHER PEOPLE AND THEY WERE COMPLAINING), AND THEN.....THERE WAS THE SOUND...OMG!! THE TWO GUYS WORKED ON IT FOR THE E-N-T-I-R-E GAME...4:30-9:00, CONSTANT EAR PIERCING FEEDBACK NOISES, THEN NO SOUND....SPORTS BAR....UH...YOU WANT TO HEAR THE GAME....HELLO? The staff is very friendly and I was able to meet the owner. He was very nice and made sure that everything was okay. The place was very clean (yes even the bathrooms). Did I mention that the food was excellent and the drinks were not watered down. That's gonna be our new hang.Thanks for a wonderful time ! this place is really cool. ive been on different nights and had a blast every time! live bands, comedy, dancing, all the sports i can watch, great food, strong drinks, easy parking....i even went for a private party and thier upstairs vip lounge was nice and private with our own private dance floor and flatscrees and a balcony so we can see the hotties downstairs! \r if you wanna watch a game or boxing or dance and listen to great bands.....WEBERS IS THE PLACE!! As a promoter i have to say that this place is great for any parties including a pirate take over. The place has been 100% redone and looks great, of course it still needs a ""pirate go over"" so me hearties keep an wethered eye for us to set our sail for 2010 ( jan or feb) to land at Webers Tavern ! I watched every game of the NBA finals at this place and loved every bit of it. No matter how packed this place got, it was almost impossible to not see one of its' many TV screens. It seemed like where ever I was throughout Weber?s I was able to watch every second of the game. Even when I was in the bathroom! Yes, there?s a TV in the bathroom! LOL! This is a first for me. Okay, aside from the TVs, Weber?s also has GREAT food and a wide variation of beer. This place is definitely worth a look when you?re in the valley! See you there. Weber's was a great place for food, fun, and entertainment. Originally from New York, went down to LA for the weekend, and Weber's started my weekend right! The food was GREAT! The atmosphere was really fun! It's definitely worth it! I would definitely go back again! Definitely worth the trip! more

Hold it now! Don't set foot in this place until you hear from the health inspector. It always was pretty much a greasy spoon, but my last experience was a horror film. My friend found an actual co ckro ach in our food! We tried to tell everyone who worked there about it, while holding back gag reflexes (I mean, what do you do when you see a nasty roa ch in your food?), but nobody cared. And the whole time before that we noticed how the kitchen wasn't clean and the staff had a bad attitude. Will NEVER go there again! more

Rumors are true, rumors are true. Webers is bringing back that old funk, 80's top 40 style dancing that we all love to hear. They are bringing in the old Bobby McGee's(Burbank) and Yankee Doodle's DJ Eric-D. He would rock the good times at McGee's and would keep us sweating at Yankee's all those years. Abviously the Bartenders at Webers are happy to see him walk in there. They said he should be the difference maker in the club aspect. They are happy to see him and so should we. He will be there for the month of August Hopefully Webers can keep him there and keep it going. We need a new watering hole to hang at in the valley. \r \r They said Webers was the place to be to in the past. maybe it should get back to that status. The music is great, the ambiance is awesome, the music is off the wall...I especially enjoyed Tuesday night where it's an open mic for anyone with talents (comedian, singers, poets, etc), Saturday night is more of a club scene, and Sunday is for Reggae. So far I've only enjoyed myself whenever I stop by...my first time there I just wanted dinner and than go home by 10pm... what I got instead was a night of dancing and I didn't leave until closing at 2am. I'm glad to see that new ownership has taken over. Having said that, trying to bring back some of the old Weber's we all loved is a hard task. I don't really know what the new look is all about. The party atmosphere it once held is not present anymore (it's a shame) miss the crab races. I do like the Plasma screens upgrade but other than that all i can say is what atmosphere! it'sa sport bar trying to hard not to be your local sports bar. The food is great and that's why come in now and then. thanks for getting rid of the bikini bar that was there before it but doesn't hold a candle to Original. If they're wise they'll listen to their patrons and bring back some of that magic. I feel bad for these patrons. We had experienced a lot of wonderful times together at a sport's bar in Woodland Hills. Now we have to settle for second-best. It may be a fun atmosphere on certain nights but if you are female, don't use the bathroom facilities - you may see more than you want to see because there are no private facilities for ladies, and interesting situations are going on in there. I use the word LADY loosely with this place. It is in a bad part of town and the parking is horrid!!! It may be free parking but there have already been some ""questionable"" incidents that have taken place; don't go there alone if you are a woman! The old Webber's is back!!! A new owner, Kervin, bought this place, got rid of the toothless Asian strippers and turned it back into a cool neighborhood bar again! \r \r The food is really good (for a bar), and the waitresses are decent looking. The new owner has spent a lot of time and money trying to bring this place back to it's old glory, and I think he's done a really great job.
