Webers Place

Weber's place is not like the old Webers that we come to know and love. What happened to a place that we can get good food, watch sports events, and just have a plain good old time, at a local sports bar that doesn't look or feel like a night club. I wish that we had a owner of Webers Place who knows and understood what the community needs, something that has worked well for several years, not a night club, but a place where we have friendly bartenders, good food, and cheer for our favorite sports teams. : ( more

Weber's Place is under new management. I went there and the club is being remodeled. It looks great. The new owner said that he is bringing back the old cooks, the bands, comedy and a jazz night. I saw 10, 50"" LCD's on the wall, new kitchen equipment, two VIP rooms upstairs with LCD's on the wall. It is scheduled to reopen at the end of this month. more

No kidding 'wow'. The Webers of past is gone and now it's a bikini dancing joint. The Webers of old fame, with the Crab Races, Lingerie Nights and the Tuesday nights comedian performer/world's fastest beer drinker 'The Fox', of Comedy Central's The Man Show fame, are gone. RIP. Wow. I walked in on 11/13/06 expecting to find the Webers we all know and love and instead found a pretty depressing sight. First, it was empty except for two men who were drunkenly transfixed on a woman, not that attractive, bumping and grinding on a pole in a skimpy outfit. YIKES. Depressing. Might be good on the weekends, but this ain't Webers anymore. New management, and their going a COMPLETELY different way. more

I moved to Reseda about a year ago and found Weber's right away using Citysearch.com. I dig their casual and comfortable atmosphere and eat dinner there a couple times a week. I've tried almost everything on the menu and I think it's all outstanding. But you definitely can't go wrong with their hot wings, bbq ribs and Cajun shrimp. The owners give personal attention to the recipes and the kitchen, often giving free samples of their newest creations to regular customers to get our feedback. It's really a great place to kick back and have a beer with friends too. Weber's has become my regular hangout over the last five years. When I want to watch a football game, ""my"" Lakers, Kings, or Dodgers ... I'm there at Weber's. No doubt it's the best sports bar in the Valley. And the rock music scene at Weber's is one of the coolest in LA, without the hassle of driving into Hollywood on a busy weekend. I'm addicted to their hot wings and order the 5 lb at least once per week. I'd bet they're the best hot wings west of the Mississippi. But they also cook up some mean burgers and Thai food. Get the shrimp and beer for $10. Massive amount of spicy peel and eat shrimp. Also good is the patty melt. This is a bar, so not really a family place, good for hanging with a group of friends. more
