Funny, after leaving my own negative comments, I was reading all of these others only to realize the reason why their customer service phone number is always busy.............\r it's so obvious.................\r All the current customers are calling to complain!!!!!!!!!!!! \r take my advice, don't bother to wait on the phone, take your $$ and time and run as fast as you can away to another service. more

Waste Services recently bought our Waste Express service company. Since their acquisition, pick up is at inconsistent times and NO pickup happened for the last 2 Saturdays. Very disappointed in this company so far. more

We've had Waste Services in New Port Richey, FL for 10 years and have NEVER had a bad experience. Never been missed or any trash left. I recommend them to one and all. I do get up early enough, 5AM, when they pick up and even have been able to get a tip to them many times over the years for their great service. After reading the comments posted, either we're really lucky or the other posters have been unlucky. I hope they keep up the great work. more

WSI - HORRIBLE SERVICE 4/6/2012

I would love to rate them a NEGATIVE star! This company is HORRIBLE. We had put our service on hold for three months. We had paid a pro-rated part of the bill for the service we owed. They kept invoicing us $53.34. My husband called and called, kept getting voicemail. Finally I got a person. She couldn't figure out how to input the information into the computer to clear the $53.34. I was working so finally after about 30 minutes I paid the balance I DID NOT OWE so to clear it up and be done with it. Cancelled service. We got an invoice for the next quarter. Called and explained all to Tammy - cancelled service AGAIN - they did not show it cancelled. Today 4/6 got another invoice saying we owed $5.22. Spoke with Samantha - VERY RUDE- insisted we had not cancelled service until 3/6 and we owed this but she would clear it off of our account. Save yourself much headache and hassle, use another sanitation company. This one is AWFUL in my opinion. more

Very upsetting to see their trash trucks pick up the dumpster across the street leaving about a bag of trash behind on the ground blowing all over the street, then pulling off and more pieces of trash blowing out top of truck and they do not even stop to pick it up...let me see how far I get with their customer service. Bet that sucks too...\r Who ever drives the pink truck and picks up at cardy and havana out in moonlake... more

What a joke for a company! 4/28/2011

We currently have 4 yard dumpster through WSI that gets dumped bi weekly. I recently called them to switch to a weekly pick up and the lady asked me why. And i said because we have more garbage. Why ask why any how im paying you to pick up??? She told me she cant because i must be hiding something! SERIOUSLY??? This was just to funny not to post. Any how WSI We have just got off the phone and order another dumpster through another company. Thats what you get for being frickin weirdos! more

Great Service! 4/17/2011

We have been in Riverview, FL for one year after moving from Western Pa. I was looking for some info on recycling and ran across the City Search reviews of Waste Water Services of Florida and I had to post our experience with them and our appreciation of the services they provide. I have lived in many cities in many states including California, Texas, Illinois, New York and Pennsylvania and this is one of the best waste services that we have used. They pick up regular garbage twice a week plus they pick-up recyclables once a week and that includes paper products and plastic, aluminum and tin/steel cans and they also pickup yard waste once a week. They ALWAYS make their pickups and are very courteous. Perhaps it is the local office and/or drivers but many of the prior comments were not reflective of the company as a whole. more

Residential Manager ext. 4225 12/31/2010

Regular trash guys are GREAT. Recycling now.... They changed Recycling pick up to a non normal pickup day. of 8 pickups, they made 1. I missed 1 pickup. It took an email to WSI's Residential Manager, Brian Nicholes, phone extension 4225, and CC to my County Commissioner to get them to pick up on my road. They have now made 2 pickups! But if you forget a week, they blackball you and take you off the pick up list for next week, starting the phone process all over again. Shame on this company. more

Got Garbage? 10/22/2010

Got garbage??? Plan on keeping it that way if you have Waste Services as your garbage removal company. This is now the second time this month that my garbage has not been picked up. Last time we called and customer service was apologetic. However, since their offices are closed on the weekends, we are left with no choice but to wait until Monday to hear back from them and hopefully get our garbage picked up. While Im on here, I must also comment on their trucks. There's nothing quite like hearing beeping, squealing and squeaking at 4:30 on a Saturday morning. And to have your garbage still on the curb after hearing that is....well...unacceptable. Waste Services STINKS!!! more

NOT A GREEN COMPANY!! 6/15/2010

I am very disappointed in this company. My HOA signed a contract with Accurate Waste who got bought out by Waste Services...so needless to say, I got stuck into a contract with them. I received a letter stating they were cutting back on their recycling program and would only pick up blue bags twice a month. This will require a lot of storage of trash on the homeowners end if they choose to participate in recycling. The letter however did not state anything regarding paper recycling, so we assumed it would stay the same. I was very upset this morning when I found my nice recycling crate (purchased by ME) GONE! I called and was told they do not recycle paper anymore. Period. So the driver must have thrown it out! Of all the companys going ""green"" I would expect more from my trash service. I cannot wait until this contract is up for a re-bid! Cons: Poor Service NOT A GREEN COMPANY!! more

never had worse waste service in my life 1/27/2010

I don't think there has been a single week in the one year I lived here when all my trash and recyclables ware picked up. Each time, at least a few pieces of trash were thrown across my driveway and yard, occasionally entire bags of trash were left behind. Pros: you can reach them easily by phone to complain Cons: they don't seem to care much more

Horribe Service, Arrogant Operators 1/12/2010

If they forget to pick your trash up, and you call the company. They will tell you that it wasn't close enough to the street. When it was 3 feet from the pavement. In short, if the driver forgets, which is not just every once in awhile, and you complain, they make excuses and you don't get the trash picked up. Pros: They pick up the trash every once in awhile Cons: Consider yourself lucky if they do pick up your trash more

Just Trash.....people and service 7/28/2009

The worst customer services. Very rude! Our services had stopped because we were unpaid. We had a child in the hospital so some bills got overlooked. I sent in payment and called to be informed that they sent 3 notices to us. There were no notices sent and no phone call I have gone through all mail and phone list. The customer service rep wanted to argue with me about it. Just unreal now I know why there are so many bad reviews for them. Hope I can find a new service. more

Customer for 6 years, switched from waste managament, and get MUCH BETTER SERVICE !!!! They take every thing as lon as its under 48"" and can be carried and they never leave a mess ! If you have a mess its probably animals getting into the garbage especially more ten one place !!! always on time and neat!! more

Well This Morning 12/10/08 I wake up and find my garbage is still out on the curb without being picked I take a look at my neighbors garbage and there garbage was picked up. I called the New port richey Office for WSI of Florida and dialed option one and then dialed for option 2 I quickly was transferred to a Customer service rep by the Name of Maurene and updated her on my Garbage not being picked up this morning she stated fine and then proceeded to take a look at my account and stated there is nothing there on why my garbage was left behind she advised me to go ahead and leave my garbage on the cub and she will put in a (Missed ticket) for the driver can come to my home and pick up my garbage I told the rep Thank you and she was very friendly. I will be updating this page to post if and when they came to pick up my missed garbage Pros: Customer service ! Cons: Missed garbage pick up. more

Worthless, Un-American, Criminal 9/20/2008

Discriminitory and spiteful- un-American service. A worthless bunch of thugs and rogues running a service that is neither helpful or caring enough to be a business. The Pasco County Commisioner should pull their license and the replacement service should be regulated allot better than this one. These are criminals that shouldn't be given the priveledge to operate a business within our community. I don't know what it is about trouble with garbage service in Pasco county but it truly needs to be addressed. I'm sick and tired of incompetant useless services in Florida. Cons: name it more
