Wash & Wag Pet Grooming

My husband and I have been taking our dog Lucy to Christine at Wash and Wag for many years. We have always been pleased with the owner's service. Christine has a really clean shop and is a top notch groomer. Her prices are fair and she treats us and the pets like family. We also bring to her a very challenging cat Cosmos who will not let us cut his nails. Christine handles this like the pro she is! We HIGHLY recommend & Wag in Rocklin! more

My daughter called me today, and the first thing out of her mouth was ""Grandma is afraid to talk to you because she thinks you're going to be mad, but I swear mom, I can vouch for her, she told the lady he was supposed to get a bath and his feet trimmed, but they shaved him!"" She proceeds to send me pictures of what they did to my dog at Wash & Wag... and I was sick. For my mom and my dog. My mom must have been horrified at what my reaction would be, although it was no fault of her own. And I was. He doesn't even look like the same dog. When my mom told the lady there, that was NOT what she asked to have done, the lady actually had the audacity to tell her ""He likes his summer cut!"" She knows this how? He told her? I'd like to enlighten her, he does NOT like his summer cut. According to my dad, he has been acting strange since he's been home. And let's just say, hypothetically, you were on the same wavelength and actually able to communicate with my dog and he conveyed his happiness to you for what you had done? YOU WEREN'T AUTHORIZED TO DO WHAT YOU DID TO HIM! If you'd like to show what a good sport you are in regards to this, why don't you let me cut your hair, as I see fit?! What you've done is no different than me going to a salon and requesting a shampoo and trimming of my bangs, only to walk away slightly more than bald. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves! more

My daughter has a service dog and Christine and her staff have always been Caring, Loving and have been GREAT with helping us with her care. This wonderful,CLEAN and easy to deal with staff is the BEST you could ever ask for ! We moved away 5 years ago and we just move back I called and she was so excited to have her girl back .... We also have a golden retriver that came from Christine and she has been a blessing and wonderful addition to our family. I have many friends who have there dogs and cats taken care of at WASH & WAG!!!! I want to remind everyone has an off day so cut them some slack and not be so quick to judge. I have taken my Niki to Wash and Wag for years and I take him every 3 weeks. Niki is alway greeted like he is their dog, I am always greeted with a smile. Niki just loves the girls there. Christine is very knowledgeable and caring. I also have a elderly cat, Knight. I bring Knight there 3 time a year. I have never had any problems with my cats behavior afterwards. Both my pets are clean and uninjuried when I get them back. I would and do recommend Wash and Wag to anyone that wants there pet well taken care of. I have had the best service at Wash and Wag. Its all about customer sevice. I have gone to Wash and Wag for years. This person with the Bichon is a moron! She says she sent her teen age daughter to do something she should have taken care of. This idiot was ""out of town"" ??? So how does she know what happend to her dog? But she makes sure to plug that other outfit! Bottom line she screwed up trying to save a buck by grooming her own dog screwed it up and had to blame it on someone else! Wash and Wag is the Best! I wish to WARN everyone about this place! My teenage daughter dropped our Bichon off to be groomed and called me out of town to say she was worried about him because the lady at the shop was mean and just pulled him roughly on his leash to the back. Turns out he came home with a huge razor gash on his belly and they shaved his bottom so close that he wound up at the pet hospital the next day with rectal problems. $500 later he came home with pain pills, ointment for his tummy and bottom and had to wear a cone for a few days. He is 4 years old and has always gone to Wags to Riches and has NEVER once had any problem. Explain that? Pros: can get you right in Cons: terrible handling of pet, will cause pain more
