Surprised 4/3/2011

Drove by the place often - never caught my eye - went one night with my kids (14 & 1) and found the place modern, urban, and very trendy but family friendly - BUT what SURPRISED me the most was the STAFF - they were very warm, helpful, and went WAY out of their way to take care of all things in the resturant - taking orders, clearing tables, waiting on customers, helping with anything that needed help - woman outside need assistance to her car, my 1 year old and all he has to offer - they weren't to ""trendy"" for true customer service --- this place and the staff have a pulse and I loved that.. FOOD was fresh - typical - but enviornment was better. more

Love This Seafood Joint 6/7/2010

Love this place. I have yet to go wrong with all of their fresh fish and shrimp (plus the usual chicken) selections. Blackened mahi-mahi? Yum? Divine rice. When I get that that summer-beach-surfin' feeling craving without having to actually get wet, this place does it for me. Oh and the beer of the month is somethin' to try, too. Best quick lunch spot in LA 11/30/2009

Wahoo's has everything that you could ever want. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and priced reasonably--not to mention there is a Wahoo's close to every neighborhood in LA. The greatest thing on the menu is the Maui Bowl--make sure to get the Mr. Lee's hot sauce. Pros: Quick, Cheap more

Best Lunch Spot! 2/6/2009

The menu is so diverse and you can order anything and it will taste great! They got Awesome Veggie Burritos, Salads, Tacos, and even French Fries! It's all good the staff are friendly and the food comes out fast. One of my go to spots 8/6/2008

I love Wahoo's. Great service, the workers always are happy, smiling and willing to make your order right and serve you. The food is fresh, tasty and a good value. I like the bowls - rice, beans and your choice of meat or the Big Kahuna Combo - the taquitos are pretty good, and the enchelladas with green sauce are mighty! Don't forget the fish tacos, simple, but good eats. Now I know this place is not authentic Mexican food, but it is always fast, consistenly good and the service friendly and the atmosphere chill. Fresh fish at great prices! A nice alternative to fast food. Makes you feel like you're down in Hermosa or Huntington. Delicious dishes! more

I had the two fish taco combo. It was a very good deal because the combo covered my two meal for the day. I really like the rice. It had a good bite to it and the flavor was very mellow and had sort of a buttery flavor aroma type of thing going on. Pros: Rice more
