I am one of THOSE .....have been going to Vitastile since Gay opened. She took the time to get to know me and we came up with this ""funky"" hairstyle that suited my needs (easy). NEVER have I had so many compliments and I've sent many customers to her. Well, the location is not real close to me so I decided about a year ago to try a ""closer"" salon - HUGE MISTAKE!!! Gay always raved about how healthy my hair was and low and behold, it was DESTROYED. Too many highlights, perm, etc etc - decided to go back to Gay and after only two visits, she has it back to normal again!!! She was appalled at what had happened and took the time to ""deep condition"" on both of my last two visits and did simple highlights. Well, I'm happy to report - she has made one happy customer once again!!! My hair is back to being healthy ...... was there today and we were both pleased at the outcome of the treatments. LOVE VITASTILE ....the entire staff knows you and remembers things about you. I also have gone to Jackie and she was so pleasant to talk to and did a fantsastic job. So - bottom line - I'm back again and there to stay!!! more

I have been to some of the local Hair salons in the area, and I have not found the experience like I did at Vitastile. Candace is AMAZING!! She has done things with my hair that I did not think was possible. She is so up to date with the latest fashion and knows what I want when I tell her. I have never had a stylist spend so much time making sure everything was perfect. The salon is one of the nices salons I have ever been to. It makes you feel like if they can spend so much time making their salon look perfect, that they will make you look perfect too. Its clean, the decor is beautiful, and the parafin wax treatment to my hands was a plus too!! I would 100% recommend Candace to anyone looking to get a quality hairstile! Im definatley glad I found Vitastile, and Candace, when I did!! more

I had went to VitaStile about 3 times and I had both Stacy and Jackie do my hair and I found these ladies to be EXTREMELLY snobby. They really made no attempt to make conversation and what little they did, was very put on and VERY fake.\r \r The last straw for me was when I took my son there and they made a mess of his hair. It's hard to see a ""mistake"" while you are there, as there lighting is very dim. We got home and the poor kid had a huge chunk out of the one side of his bangs, it was uneven. Had to take him somewhere else the next day to have it fixed.\r \r As for my hair. I did not get the coloring I desired, but it grew on me. I have no problem paying $100 bucks to have my hair done, but if I am going to pay that kind of money, I would expect the staff to be have better deameanor then what they had.\r \r I have been at the salon I found after them and have been there since. What a difference, when you find a place where you feel welcomed..\r \r I am glad to see there are others that have had a better experience with them and maybe things have changed a bit with them since I was there, it's been a while back since this happened to me. Hopefully they got some new stylists.\r \r I work with mostly women and I always tell them to stay clear of them. I've been a client's of Gay's for 10 years and she's been incredible! I love my visits to the salon. Its relaxing and I really feel pampered when I go! I always get great styling advice and great service! I've recommended VitaStile to everyone I know because every deserves this kind of treatment. She was warm, and friendly and wasn't afraid to say what would work best for my facial structure and hair type. My entire family gets hair cuts from Jackie at VitaStile. I've been so happy with Jackie that my husband (who hadn't had a hair cut in 15 years!) had 5 inches cut off of his hair! My boys (12 and 6) ask to have hair appointments with Jackie, they love the special attention she gives them and think the fish tank is super cool! I've been getting my hair cut and colored by the owner Gay for about a year and a half, and I started going to Vita Stile because they specialize in cutting us curly girls. Gay always has great suggestions on cuts and color yet always listens to my input and concerns as well. Great owner, great stylist, great salon! Stylist Stacey just did the Pure NV BKT (botanical keratin treatment) on me to relax the curl and to eliminate frizz. All I can say is -WOW! I had several people do a double take at work because they simply did not recognize me with sleek, shiny straight hair. You can't go wrong at this salon - they keep up on the latest trends in hairstyling and are constantly furthering their education to be able to provide clients with the most current hair services. Jackie and Gay worked very hard to give me a new look. New color, new style, new me. Having gone through a recent surgery I challenged them with extra steps and they shined through. What normally would have taken a few hours took longer and they never complained or gave up. Changes are hard sometimes, but they were supportive and made me feel like a queen for the day. After a recent visit to the salon for a consultation and coloring appointment, I phoned the salon to express my disappointment with the outcome. After spending over $100 you'd expect to have a truly professionally completed job. Although the owner offered to 'fix' the mistakes, I was not open to the idea. I know that mistakes happen, but the stylist should have said something before I left the salon...and an experienced colorist should have notice the blotchy patches of color and offered either a reduction in price or to fix the issue. I moved to Pittsburgh 2 years ago from Houston thinking it was easy to find a nice place to get a decent haircut. i've tried all kinds of places that had a reputable name, but non of them was worth what i paid until i found Vita Stile. From the moment i made my appointment to the moment i opened that door, i knew i was in for a treat! This salon speaks modern tranquility and sophisticated professionalism. The wide open spaces of where your hair is washed and cut to the openess of where your nails are made pretty, Vita Stile has one of the best accomodations of all your pampering needs. I was even served hot tea on a cold, snowy day. Wine was also available, but i'm saving that for a summer afternoon. Best of all my stylist, Leigh Ann Harvey, was extremely knowledgable about the hairstyles that would look good on me. She's honest and meticulate with every cut, yet she's gentle in transforming you into nothing but FABULOUS!! I would recommend anybody and everybody to try Vita Stile, whether you just need a simple trim, a new look, or a full blown makeover. Not only did I get pampered at Vita Stile, I got to look fabulous while shopping at the Grove City Outlets afterwards!! It took me literally 3 minutes to get from the salon chair to the sale racks!! This has been my salon of choice for years. The stylists are professional and friendly - the owner is FANTASTIC - and the salon itself is an oasis in countryside of western Pennsylvania. I have followed my stylist Stacey from a couple different salons! Stacey is the best around, I have never found anyone so into doing a persons hair and just making sure they feel beautiful at all times! This is the best salon and nicest salon I think i have even been to! The prices are very reasonable which is very important and the coupons are awesome! I enjoy my experience there every time! I am new to the area so I got online and found Vitastile's website. It attracted me with how well educated the staff is so I gave it a try. WOW!! As a first time client of Gay, I was nervous at first. Her knowledge,confidence and friendliness washed that away immediatly. She can take a look at you and know what will not only suit you, but bring your style back up to date. And color..well, this is the best color I have had.
