I was a new patient to this practice, and I will NOT be returning to this office next year. My appointment was originally for 9:30 on a Tuesday. 20 minutes before my appointment, as I was walking out the door, I received a phone call from the office telling me that the doctor would not be in. They offered me a 10:30 appointment the same day with another doctor, or an appointment on another day. Since I had already planned my entire day around this appointment, I took the 10:30 appointment. I arrived 5 minutes early, and ended up sitting for another 30 minutes, waiting on the doctor. Finally, I saw the doctor, who explained that the other doctor had called in sick. I told him I understood, but didn't understand why I was told only 20 minutes before my appointment was to take place. The doctor then told me that I had to submit to a ""contact fitting"" session to make sure that my contacts were the right fit for me. Nevermind that I told him that I had been wearing these same brand of contacts for over ten years. I know that other offices make contact wearers go through this process, but I continue to think it's just a money making scheme. And of course, this office didn't have my brand of contacts in stock. They said they would order a trial pair and have me come back in when they arrived, about 3-4 business days from then. SIX business days later, I still hadn't received a phone call from them, so called to inquire. The ""contact specialist"" informed me that the order hadn't even been placed!!! She said she would have the doctor (who is also the office manager) call me back today. I'm awaiting the phone call, but am not expecting much from this office who has already repeatedly demonstrated their incompetence. At this point, I'm considering filing a complaint with my insurance company to deny Vision Park payment, so I can take my insurance money and go somewhere else.
Pros: clean office
Cons: incompetent, unorganized staff and doctor, unnecessary ""required"" procedures
