Visited virtu because I did not know what to do with my hair. I walked in , the atmosphere was awsome. I was greeted in a kind and professional manner. I really enjoyed it , and I would go to virtu if you are looking to get your hair taken care of by a staff that knows what that they are doing. I had such bad haircut when I went in, and Nihad fixed it for me. The color was also very gentle and i could not even smell anything. My highlights done the way I always wanted. Very close to my scalp and did not look like I had a month grow out when I left , which most salons do. THANK YOU VIRTU and Nihad. Pros: good prices more

Nihad is a true artist, his enthusiasm for his salon and anyone who walks in the door immediately establishes a true experience. It is by far the best color and hair style that I have ever had. This was the best experience getting my hair done EVER! I went in to this beautiful salon for the first time yesterday. I decided to go there after reading reviews on City search and all the praises people gave. (They were right 100 %.) Nihad honestly is the most talented hair designer I have EVER met. I was greeted by him personally and instantly felt at home. He is super nice on top of being amazingly talented. I am sure that I will ever go anywhere else! I went in there wanting to go back to my natural hair color after being blond and blond time and time again-he did it-PERFECTLY!!! I couldn't believe how accurate he was at matching my hair color and the cut is awesome! He did what I wanted (unlike my old stylist who kind of did what she wanted) so I have never been happier. His personality is great and he even talked to me while my hair color was setting which I loved! I would (and AM) recommending this salon to EVERYONE I know. If you don't check Virtu Salon out you are CRAZY!! The environment is comfortable and I am convinced that this salon may not be very well known now but it will be-no doubt. I hope I expressed how much I LOVE Nihad's talent and the salon he has created-I could never thank him enough for making me feel ""pretty"" again. Thank you thank you!!!! I heard about this salon , when a friend of mine told me that her hair had never been so healthy after she got it colored. I said okay, let me call and see what this place is all about. I had Carly give me some suggestions on my color. I had really frizzy and dry hair, after it was all done, the color they used on my hair really helped because now my hair is easy to comb through in the mornings when I style it and the curls holds better as well, maybe that was because of the great haircut. My hair feels healthy and its really vibrant. Everyone at the salon was really down to earth, and I really enjoyed them. They all know what they are doing, and I have been to some salons where it was not as put together as virtu ; also served me a great cup of tea. Carly was professional but fun at the same time. Nihad's customers are loyal for a reason: he is simply the best when it comes to personalized, professional service. I used to be scared to experiment with hair, but Nihad has my complete trust! I love that he can do all types of cuts, especially Asian cuts. My latest cut was a Japanese cut that was such a compliment-drawer. Another favorite of mine was when he colored my hair last year and the color lasted even longer than the 6-months. His hair maintenance tips have changed my daily hair routine and my hair is so much healthier than it has ever been. I wish Virtu Salon were a lot nearer to me though. I am a client of his from his days at a Kent salon, so it is quite a trip for me. more

I have to be honest... Nihad saved my hair ! he did the most amazing color job I have ever gotten. My hair was such brassy uneven ugly color, and he transformed me into such great looking blonde. Best off all my hair was even coloed and the Baliage, which is something I have never had done was amazing, it looked super natural, like the sun colored my hair. Instead of foils , he took my hair and just took small sections and just painted color on it and put a long cotton under the colored hair. My description for virtu salon would consist of an atmosphere characterized by or exhibiting refined, tasteful beauty of manner, form, and style. This salon has a staff that is talented and eager to cure those who crave good hair and service. I was referred to Carly by a friend of mine. I was going in there , with not knowing of what I wanted Carly quickly directed me to the color wall. This wall that virtu has created is framed pictures of the most beautiful hair color and cuts I have ever seen. The idea is just amazing. I usually get offered color swatches that never turn out to be the color on my head. I chose the picture with the nice blonde color and a sheer long layered cut. Carly brought it into life for me. She was very creative in her highlighting pattern. A combo of boliage , a french way to complete a sun-kissed blonde and other cream lighteners brought my hair to shine and a vibrant ray to alive. Thank you virtu, and I would recommend everyone to go to this salon ! The staff is sophisticated and will make you look your absolute best when you walk out. I would call and make an appointment before going, so you can arrange your time with the stylist that you want to see., although you won't have a problem with anybody at virtu , everyone is truly caring and artistic. A great hairdresser is an indispensable commodity. Nihad, owner of the new Virtu Salon, is just that. A master of styling hair into a perfect head of hair, Nihad works magic with a round brush. While sitting back and sipping wine, Nihad transforms your dull lifeless hair into a full bodied, shiny, and stylish coif. Virtu salon is a cozy space, filled with beautiful full-length mirrors, incredible artwork, and antique furniture, and is the perfect antithesis to typically starch and generic salon decor. Instead of sitting in an ugly Salon chair, a trendy leather chair awaits your company. Nihad moves around and crouches down to cut your hair instead of pumping you up and down in a plastic-y salon seat. He listens to his clients, but also has a good artistic eye and doesn't need a lot of guidance. A week after having 4 inches lopped off, I decided that maybe we had been almost a little too conservative and would like a little length taken off the back. Nihad was happy to have me come back in and, didn't just pull out his scissors and take off the length in a matter of seconds, whooshing me out the door in one fell swoop. He told me that he was glad that I came back and would rather take my hair to exactly how I want it in smaller steps. He actually shampooed my hair, trimmed up the back and angled it for me, gave me a great style, and then asked if it was OK if he ran the flat iron through it. He knows how important it is to have his clients looking fabulous when they walk out of his salon. Virtu boasts organic hair products, and is on his way to introducing the Phyto organic line to his new shop. Nihad gushed that Phyto is used by a lot of great stylists in Hollywood. I checked it out around Seattle and found that only a couple salons offer that line, and also charge a lot more than Virtu. Please read the rest of my review at the bottom of this... more

Nihad is also a master of color. I color my own hair, but if I didn't, he would be my man. A co-worker of mine has been going to him for quite a while for cuts and color. Her hair always looks wonderful. Right now, Nihad is seriously busy. He has a pretty large clientele and is still in the process of hiring Virtu's stylists. I'm sure he takes walk-ins (and has a great selection of new US weekly's to check out while waiting), but my recommendation is that you call him up and schedule an appointment. Trust me it's worth it! Another great perk is the location. Although it's easy to miss, there is parking behind this salon's Greenwood location, just don't miss to turn down the little alley. Oh, and after the great cut and style, head across the street to the Monkey Grind Espresso Bar. The girl who works there Friday afternoons makes a to die for sugar-free coconut latte. I could have sworn, that when I went into virtu, I had never felt so welcomed at any other salon and virtu was the most welcoming of all. I have really fine hair and I needed a foil and haircut, so Nihad talked to me about my hair and how color and a nice cut would give me more lift. I took his advise because he was so professional and had a lot of insight on what was trendy. Also because I could trust him. I had such great time talking with the staff there and just hanging out while getting my hair done. Everyone was so nice and Amber was also great at recommending the right shampoo and conditioner for my fine hair. The atmosphere of the salon was so charming and affable. I did not want to LEAVE. I really recommend that you go to virtu to get your hair done so you can experience what I experienced. Kindness in this salon is present. Thank you so much and p.s the parking is awsome because it completed my day not having to worry about parking on the street. I will tell everyone about virtu !!! Visited virtu salon because I heard really good things about them. I had really damaged hair and did not even know what to do with it. When I left my hair was really soft and shiny. The color line they have is amazing and it does not stink or burn my scalp.... i cant wait to tell my friends... highly recommend this salon. it was convenient and also plethora of parking... thanks Nihad Pros: awsome color and service more

Virtu salon was so cool. It was elegent and creative. It was not like any salon I have seen before. This salon is definately a must visit if you are looking for a great style and color. I had a really fun time there and they really care about their clients. Amber was really cool and helpful in helping me find the right color for my skin tone. The music was beautiful, a blend of european hits and good relaxing tunes. My hair color was really brassy and Amber told me exactly what I needed to do and what products to use from virtu. I ended up getting a foil, haircut and shampoo and conditioner and a styling product and the price was great. My hair has never been this healthy , after one visit it was soft and full of nutrients from the mop organic products. I love the smell and the way my hair feels. This salon is so classy, from the beautiful 100 year old antiques to the artwork on the walls. The owner Nihad is a great artist, he is very welcoming and listens to your wants and needs. NOt to mention the parking is great for seattle;) i highly recommend this place. Pros: ten thumbs up more

Virtu salon has to be the first place I would recommend to anybody if you have asian , coarse , thick hair like me. I went in for a cut and style. The stylist took his time to see what I wanted done with my hair and how much I wanted trimmed. He suggested for my hair that we do a dry cut. He washed and blew dry my hair using the modern organic products, and my hair felt so smooth. He then flat ironed with the best flat iron I have ever seen in my life. He gave me a ""signature"" haircut which means its designed for my hair and texture. I never felt so good when I have left any oher salons. I am going to make an appointment for a color and I am going to tell everyone about you guys. I went to virtu because a friend of mine recommended it. I am so glad that I went there because I thought that virtu was so elegent and clean. The atmosphere was very neat. The team at virtu was very helpful in helping me with my hair and finding the right products for my dull and fine hair. I also looked at some of the art on the wall by Lisa Kin. She has some awsome art up. virtu salon was an experience to remember. The location is awsome and it was not hard to find. The parking was also great because I used to go to a salon in seattle and I had to pay for parking and it was just a headache. I was amazed at how nice and shiny my hair was when I left. so what more can i say to convince you that this is the best salon in seattle. Go check it out and see for yourself, the art , the beverages, and the best cut and color you will ever get. If you also have fine and britle hair like me , talk to them about the organic products. I went to Virtu after work because I work in the area, very close to greeklake. It was a cool experience and the tea was amazing. The atmosphere fits the location and the music was awsome. I got a really nice and crip haircut from nihad. He really listened to what I had to say and did exactly what I wanted. The staff was very cool and down to earth. The art was also something you have to pay attention to when you visit this salon. It was very unique. Lisa Kin the artist has some great art in there. VIrtu salon was conveniently located to my work and where I live. I hope that you guys keep up the good work and love the antique styling stations and chairs.the big big big mirrors were also amazing. and the chairs were very comfy.. highly recommend this hidden treasure salon..i call it a jewel in the heart of greenwood. you wont want to leave virtu ... its just amazing... thank you nihad and staff for your welcoming abilities. more

Virtu was such great experience. The staff has great attitude and they actually know what they are doing... I went to get my roots touched up and my foils were so close to the scalp and the color made my hair so shiny.... It was unbelievable... The atmosphere of the salon was so calming, because I have gone to some salons and they are so gossipy and tacky. This salon has none of that... if you are looking for a salon that will go the extra mile to help you out and make sure you are taken care of... go to Virtu..... its just such a cool salon , I can't describe how it is until you see for your self. Parking is awsome , in the back of the building... and thanks for everything Virtu.
