You and your staff's hard work made it happen! The fundraiser event benefitting The Children's Hospital was a huge success. I personally want to take the time and say ""thank you"" for all the time and effort you and your staff have given to make the event successful. I'm sure The Children's Hospital is going to appreciate the generous donation you, your staff and customers worked so hard to generate. It takes a great person to make something like that happen. I live in Westminster, so I had never been to Virgilio's until yesterday. I found out about the italian festival on kidspages when we were looking for something fun to do on Saturday. We decided to go an check it out, and it was a wonderful experience! I couldn't believe how much food they were giving away, all to benefit the Childrens Hospital. Virgilio is truly a wonderful person to give away so much food and not reap any financial benefit from it. He wanted to help all of the many kids in need at the children's hospital and I hope he succeeded! The pizza was so yummy! The crust was perfect, everything a pizza crust should be...crispy, chewy and flavorful! I hope that everyone there gave a generous amount of money for the food they received. I appreciate all of the other companies that gave food away as well to benefit the Children's Hospital. This is only one obvious reason why Virgilio's is so successful! I have a 13 month old nephew that was born with a whole in his heart. He is having open heart surgery this coming Tuesday in Florida where he lives. I know how important Children's Hospital is for many kids! Thanks again! We will definitely be back to enjoy more of your delicious pizza and garlic knots! I am the owner of Virgilio's Pizzeria and yes my name is Virgilio. This message is addressed to the individual (s) who has written 20 different reviews under different aliases in the past few months. You should be ashamed of yourself. This pathetic attempt to try to slander me personally,my hard working staff, or my fabulously cheesy pizza is as see-through as your sub-standard pepperoni! I know it hurts to see me in the paper and magazines over and over and over, basking in the gloriousness of my marinara, but that is what hard work and great quality produces! If you think writing reviews that say such ridiculous falsehoods such as ""don't believe the hype"", ""greasy"", ""expensive"", ""bad service"" will hurt my business you are out of luck! Business is better than ever as you already know, with lines out the door daily. May I suggest that you spend time at your restaurant, not mine, trying to make a better product, instead of writing bogus reviews, maybe we would see you in the paper winning my awards, I'm just sayin.......... As a previous reviewer mentioned, this place is notoriously rumored for having employees show up on the web and write reviews praising themselves. I read some of these reviews and have to laugh. Everyone has there favorite place and different opinions but when some are just mean about it .....you have to wonder what the motivation is. Virgilio's is a place where the people care about there product. . The owner is there every single day. I cannot remember a place when the owner is there 7 days a week. That's why I go back because of the passion they have in every pizza they make. The main chef Gaberial is amazing and Virgilio's whole staff is outstanding. The pizza is always crispy with a generous amount a fresh toppings. This is the only place that I know of that slices there own fresh Jalapenos and there homemade mozzarella is the best. i had eaten there one time with my hubby. we both agreed we've had much better pizza just about anywhere else. the staff was rude and seemed annoyed because i asked for light sauce. my neighbor used to work there and said that the employees would right most of the review on here. soooo not worth ever going. OMG!! I finally found pizza in Colorado. You must try this little pizza shop. They make there own homemade mozzeralla and the best caprese salad I have ever had. There pizza margertia is like being in Italy but only better. The spinach pinwheels are to die for. Give this little place a try you will not be disappointed. Be warned that they can get very busy. I love Virgilio's food. It's a shame that people are allowed to make personal attacks as cowards in a post. The knots were good, but have had much, much better lasagna-lots of cheese, very few noodles and canned mushrooms! In a round pan, more like baked cheese and spinach with marinara. Would not recommend this place for lasagna at all. Pros: knots Cons: lasagna more

My self and 3 other people went here.15 minute wait but it was well worth it.The owner or his son greats you with a big hi.We all ordered salads and all were very fresh with home made Italian dressing that will knock you down it was great.We had a3 differant pizzas and one was better than the other.If the owner if he isnt standing up near the front door he is standing next to the kitchen making sure the food is coming to your table HOT.The service was very good and very friendly.The prices are a few more bucks than some pizza places but you pay for what you get.Give this place try!!! I went to Virgilio's a month or so ago after reading reviews and must say that I agree. This is one of the Best pizza places in Denver. I will say that my pizza knowledge is pretty vast since I spent a year of my life working as a Graphic Designer for one of the top pizza trade magazines in the US. I also had other responsibilities for the company and traveled for 3 months eating pizza up and down the east coast. So after reading the reviews, I went in a little close minded thinking that it couldn't be that good but I must say my boyfriend and I really loved the pizza. The sauce was phenomenal, the crust yummy and crispy and the atmosphere was great. I don't understand how people had bad service since our server was incredible and even suggested a great wine that complimented our meal. He was extremely nice, funny and attentive. After finished we even order one of their take-and-bake pizzas to try out at home which also was awesome. The owner even came over and chatted with us for several minutes and I thought Virgilio was a great guy. I will definitely be going back for more of this great pizza. I just got done eating my food from Virgilio's and I am more than impressed. I had never been there before but went on a whim becuase i was in the neighborhood. I was greeted by a very sweet girl who was more than happy to walk me through the menu and suggested take out because I was in a rush. I ordered the margherita pizza and was more than impressed. The crust is amazing and the cheese is to die for. The greek salad was just as good. I was impressed on the freshness. I took it home to by wife and she loved it as much as i did.
