There aren't enough positive adjectives to describe this practice. Totally professional, honest and patient centered. My previous dentist was a nightmare; her main concern seemed to be racking up billable hours by prescribing excessive services and dragging things out over multiple appointments that could be done in one. Dr. Suman reccommends treatments that are cost effective and serve the patient, not his bottom line. Example: My son has two broken front teeth. We were told that it would cost $600+ to repair (with insurance). Dr. Suman recommended a treatment that would repair the teeth, and that made sense for a 13 year old boy, for less than $200. He is meticulous in his work and holds himself to a very high standard of quality. The office staff is superb; friendly, professional, and get you in on time. They are also very kid friendly; my whole family goes and never a complaint. more

I have been very happy with this dentist office. I truly have not had to wait more than 15 minutes to get started with an appointment. I felt that the dentist and hygienist spent more than an adequate amount of time on my teeth for my general cleaning. My bill is always explained to me, and the cost of any optional or recommended procedures for the next visit are included in the papers they give you after your visit. I went here because it was the only place in the area that my insurance would cover. I was very nervous, since I was afraid that I might have several cavities and didn't want to be pushed into getting a lot of work done by a doctor I didn't know. I went in and all the staff were very friendly and professional, especially Dr. Suman. I was assured that I didn't need drilling, and he said that I might want to get some work done on a seal, but didn't insist that it needed to be done immediately and stressed that it wasn't some kind of dental emergency. Basically I wasn't pushed or tricked into work that I didn't need done. I felt like I was treated more honestly than by the dentist I use back at my parents' home in Charlotte. The facilities had personal t.v.s for everyone, which was pretty nice. They only reason I'm saying four stars instead of 5 is because it took them awhile to get me in. Perhaps that's any dentist, but I feel like if I have a early/early-mid morning appointment it should take less than 20-25 minutes to get me in to see the dental hygentist, at least. Of course, I was also a new customer, so perhaps some of that is insurance processing or whatever. In any case, I had a very good experience and plan on going back. more
