Great atmosphere 5/3/2006

I took my wife to Victor's Café for our first date, and we weren't disappointed by the food or the atmosphere. It's prime location in the Inner Harbor makes for an excellent view of the sunset, so make dinner reservations accordingly. The only downside, which hopefully has been rectified by now is the lack of insulation from sound pollution. Our entire meal was "serenaded" by a Poison concert in the nearby pavilion-- our water glasses pulsed along to the rhythm of the bass guitar. Still, service was great, and their selection of Italian dishes and seafood was fantastic! more

It's not the food, it's the atmosphere 6/16/2005

Food isn't the main reason to go to Victor's. Don't get me wrong, the food is good. Not great, but it's good. What sets Victor's Cafe apart is the location. It's right on the water, overlooking the harbor. In other words, it's a fantastic location. It's a great place to go for Sunday Brunch, or for drinks after work. Prices are reasonable and, like I said, the food is good. I understand that the restaurant will be torn down eventually to make room for another building, so don't wait to go. more
