Had starter motor replaced 12/7/2011

I was happy with the experience with the exception that when I asked for a quote for the work to be done, the quote excluded two sets of fees: "environmental" and "shop supplies". I didn't expect these items since they were not included in the original quote, which I used to comparison shop. So I would have given more stars if they had included the out the door price when I asked for a quote. more

Vic's Goes the Extra Mile! 12/3/2011

When my air conditioner recently began dragging my engine down, I knew Vic's would be able to figure out what was going on. I had a tight timetable to get my car back and Vic's pulled out all the stops to get my car fixed correctly and by the time promised - even when their part supplier fell down on the job! Last weekend Vic's fixed my breaks for a lot less then "the other guy." They were very friendly and they even left me a small gift in my car. I would totally go back to them. more

Anticipated Needed Parts 11/18/2011

When I called to schedule my appointment I told Amanda what was wrong with my rear door. The necessary part was ordered and waiting to be installed on my appointment date. I greatly appreciated the forthough because it meant I got my car back right away. This is typical at Vic's BTW. more

A Cut Above 11/15/2011

Vic's Precision Automotive is a cut above when you walk in the door and are immediately greeted with a handshake and a 'welcome'. Their office and facilities are clean and pleasant. The work on my car was done without a problem but what impresses me most is their sense of community and professional follow-up. They hold free seminars for women to teach them basic car care, they are certified 'female friendly' and they follow-up with you by phone or e-mail to give you an estimate on things that need to be taken care of in the future. They don't blow minor details out of proportion to get you to pay for things then and there. I would highly recommend Vic's to anyone wanting friendly, helpful and honest service. more

Oil Change + 11/4/2011

Went in for an oil change and pre-trip check. I dropped my car there and was shuttled to my office. Vic's found that I needed rear brakes so they put those on and my car was ready when they said it would be. I got a friend to take me to pick it up and I was back at work within a few minutes. Friendly and courteous personnel took good care of my car and me. more

Vibration in front end 10/28/2011

when checking in Steve was not available. Otherwise, he would have told me and I would have gotten tires. Wheels were balance and on way home light came on for low tire. Went out next day and got four new tires more

Lied about part price 8/23/2011

My A/C Motor went out and they quoted the part to beig over $700 and that didn't include the labor. The price would be right at $900 with labor. I thought it seemed high so I called around and it was $300 everywhere else and under $400 with labor. I told them that and of course they said it was untrue. I said they could call all 5 places I called and quoted me the exact same cheaper price. I left there but paid them $100 just to tell me what was wrong with my car and lie to me about part costs. I do not appreciate that at all. I will let all my friends and neighbors know what happened here so they will not have to go through the same thing I did. more

Battery rplacement 6/17/2011

Vic's arranged for the tow within one hour. All work was done as estimated. I got stuck in traffic and someone waited 45 minutes after closing for me so I could get my car. more

Wonderful Transmission Work 6/15/2011

When my transmission problem light went off, my stomach dropped. Oh no! I figured a really expensive repair would be coming up. But Vic's diagnosed something different fixed it for less than $200! I love that I can rely on their honesty! Thank you Vic's! more

Air Conditioning 6/6/2011

Thank you for repairing the air conditioning on the driver side and having the repairs completed in time for our trip to Dallas. The repair was reasonably priced as well. By the way, it is even hotter in Dallas than it is here in The Woodlands. We appreciated being able to drive our Honda instead of our Dodge Ram truck due to the price of gasoline : ) more
