Veterinary Clinic of Lubbock

I have only good things to say about Vet Clinic of Lubbock. I trust them. I like taking my dog in and feeling like she's getting the same kind of treatment I get at a hospital. They have always taken me seriously and done the tests to make sure my dog was safe. I would also recommend going here because they are on the low side of costs, not the cheapest...but you don't want that, trust me. \r I've had lots of stuff done here, x-rays, spay, shots, nails, Barium swallow, blood work, fecal tests, flea and tick disease tests, all good experiences. My cat got a fish hook stuck in his foot. This is not the vet I normally use, but since my vet was not in the office, I rushed here. They were so kind and rushed me in like I had been coming there for years. Thanks for your welcome!! more

Dr Randy Bullard is a caring and compasionate vet. He cares for my cat and always shows me the utmost respect and answers all questions I might have. I highly recommend him to all of my pet loving friends and family! Oh and his staff rock! They worked "Spud" in one day when I had a day off and he needed shots. What a great bunch of people! more

Well, my experience with the Vet Clinic has been nothing but good. I've had 2 animals fixed there and one declawed with the laser. Everything went very well with each surgery. They took the time to go over all the options of blood work, ecg monitoring and pain meds. Of course, being a responsible owner I elected for all of them to be done. All of my animals have walked out alive and happy. more

We adopted a puppy from Dr. Bullard that he saved because she was infested with ticks and the pet stores wouldn't take her. Our family has loved this puppy and she is nothing but a healthy, playful, much loved puppy now. So glad Dr. Bullard had the heart to save her! We have taken Zoe (puppy) to Dr. Bullard for all her shots and to get her spayed. He always provides the best care for Zoe and I wouldn't think of taking her anywhere else. And even though we live an hour away, we are going to board her here over Christmas because I know she will be in good hands. more

I am Dr. Randy Bullard, owner of the Veterinary Clinic of Lubbock. While anesthetic deaths are rare, they do happen and they are very upsetting to us and of course, understandably, to the owners. We always ask for a phone number where we can contact the owners immediately in case of an emergency. About midway through the surgery, this puppy starting having problems and after doing all we could to resuscitate her, we lost her. This was between 9:30 and 10 in the morning. I immediately called the owners and did not get an answer. I called back again and I did leave a message. I should have just left a message for a return call ASAP. We left for the lunch hour at noon, leaving a receptionist at the clinic as we usually do. When the owners came in to find out what had happen, I was called and immediately returned to the clinic to discuss what had happened. Again, we deeply regret this puppy's death. more
